Cool, just as I was sitting to watch, noticed that seasons 1-3 just got removed from Amazon due to expired rights...

For what it's worth, I can still access the Expanse (all seasons it appears) from the Prime app on Android and the Chromium browser on Linux. This is from the eastern US.

So much good stuff in this episode. Bobbie's "I'll go through you like a door", all of team ABC's interactions, the cucumber sandwiches, Holden's monomania and coming back from the brink, freaking all of Champa. The only real miss is Errinwirght and that might have been intentionally mysterious.

Chrisjen did mention her son dying before, when she was talking with Holden's mother. And I think they touched on Cotyar knowing his son in earlier episodes. But his involvement in having his son killed was new information afaik. This is a great episode. Errinwright's storyline across these few episodes is so well crafted. At first, his change of heart seems dubious, but as the story progresses, you start to believe he truly regrets his actions and is willing to face the consequences. I think he was genuine hurt by Chrisjen's refusal to help him out of his desperate situation and wanting him to take the fall. So, as a last-ditch effort, when he realizes Chrisjen can lead him to Mao, he orchestrates a bold move to eliminate Korshunov, destroy the Karakum, locate Mao and force him back into his fold. Ultimately, he plans to have Mao deal with Chrisjen, stating he expects him to return to Earth "alone". This show does an excellent job of writing its characters, giving them clear, understandable, and relatable motivations. Even characters like Errinwright, who might be seen in a negative light by the viewer, are fully developed with well-defined motives that don’t simply make them "bad." You can understand why they believe their actions are valid and justifiable from their perspective, even if you don't agree with them.

Great reaction, Jacqui! I want to answer your most pressing question regarding Errinwright's heel turn, but I can't spoil it for you! You'll get your answer once you press play.

For shows that come out weekly, that I really enjoy, I tend to rewatch the last episode right before I watch the new episode. Its better then recaps and a allows me to get more hyped.

Whenever you say you want to watch an/every episode again I say out loud: "YES do that!! I'll watch it again with you!!!" Also, I LOVE it when you swear properly, I'd pay extra just for that, no kidding!!

You can get the first three seasons on Apple TV but if you need them buy the entire package for not Much more

Cucumbers are a pretty inefficient vegetable, low nutritional value compared to the resources they take to grow. Mars is very resource-efficient, they have to be. If you can have one cucumber plant that feeds one person or ten potato plants that feed twenty, they HAVE to go with the potatoes. So for a Martian like Bobbie, cucumbers really would be a rare delicacy. It's also a more subtle sign of Mao's ostentatious wealth that we see everywhere on his ship. Mao's resources are, for all practical purposes, unlimited, so he can be as wasteful with them as he likes.
