I get why it made you think of "Alien" but usually it makes people think of "Invasion Of The Body Snatchers" or Heinlein's "The Puppet Masters". Anyway, season two is half done, now we're getting into the good stuff.

Preaching to the Horse's Mouth

A lot of folk will say that this is one of they're least favourite, it's one of the weakest eps etc And like, fair enough, it probably is. But it's fun and light and sometimes that's all you need. Personally I think the Gorch's are a hoot lol. But hold on to your butts because the back half of S2 is about to go off.

Just since you remarked on it; a redheaded stepchild refers to a person that is neglected, mistreated, or considered not part of the "real" family, much like the "black sheep of the family". The term is believed to have originated in the United States in the late 19th century, possibly stemming from anti-Irish sentiment. And to make it personal to me I had a cousin who was a redheaded step child. They were the eldest child and got into a lot of trouble as a teenager. Today they are very cool and do a lot of work helping rehabilitate people in prison. Loving your jump scares *snicker*. See you next time.

I don't know, I think one of the scenes was a direct homage to Aliens. Of course, I don't think she has seen Aliens yet.
