Loved the Ted and Alice co-regulation moment... helping someone's emotional state by letting them mirror a helpful breathing pattern. Also, for a chunk of this episode, Higgins was Bob Woodward :- I rewatched All The President's Men to see how strong the parallels were :- Music. Structure of Higgins' investigation - phone, then in person, then clandestine meeting after warning suggesting surveillance. Written notes jumbled into spaces in notebooks, including underlining etc. Randall's wife echoing the librarian initially remembering Hunt accessing books on Kennedy and then denying that, and even that Hunt was ever there. The use of 'honourable' to echo 'proper' and 'honest' in the film. General theme of people being strongly discouraged from communicating or encouraged to deny events/knowledge. Setting of Mae in the cellar, the glow of the vape replacing the lighter. The informant insisting the investigator say what they know, and the nature of the latter's uncertainty as to where the facts lead Follow the anger/money.

There has been one storyline they could have easily done again this season but wisely chose not to. The players not accepting Ted as their coach. His reputation speaks for itself.
