So, I had planned on putting up a poll to decide what to watch this week, but during the live stream, I think you guys made it pretty clear what the priority was. So, instead, let's see how many people can guess it correctly...😉

I'm curious about your experience with Hitchcock? Psycho is kind of a masterpiece of storytelling, even if folks dislike it, or find its subject matter 'questionable' -- it's a 'must-see' at some point in the future...

Ed Badalucca

I missed the livestream, but I hope the emphasis was on classic, quality film and not overrated dreck from the turn of the century… 😏

Andrew Smith

That would be a good idea if she didn't want the channel to grow.

Andrew Smith

Don't get me wrong. I'd love to see some classic films on here but soley focusing on that wouldn't be a good way to grow the business.

Ed Badalucca

No worries. I’m just not a big fan of Fight Club. Of course Jacqui should tackle it, but it doesn’t mean I have to like it. 😉

Andrew Smith

Personally I think Quantum of Solace is the worst movie on this particular list.

Russell Roberts

Quantum of Solace is definitely the weakest of these movies, and to be honest it's the weakest of the Daniel Craig Bond films. It's not _bad_ per se, but compared to Casino Royale it's a huge letdown. It's nowhere near as bad as some Bpnd movies like the Moore films (Moonraker is especially atrocious) but it's weaker than Casino Royale.

Movie Night

We studied Hitchcock a bit in school (because how could we not?), but he was never a particularly high priority for me because I don't do well with suspense and horror. They're the two genres I've generally stayed away from. But that being said, I do really want to watch more Hitchcock, even just for the sake of being able to say I have. I know I'll be able to appreciate his work, even if don't feel the need to watch it again 😅

Jon Johns

As much as he's famous for 'horror', he is more... I guess Macabre, and 'thriller' like North By Northwest, and, say, The Trouble with Harry (comedy / macabre) as examples. But even his horror is nearly "G" rated by today's standards. My only push, is probably the same as you've heard before: his film making is now textbook. His 'mystery' design created the idea of a "macguffin" and his storytelling is compelling, popcorn munching goodness😉 -- but I respect your boundaries.
