Ted Lasso 3x01 Full Length Reaction

THEY'RE BACK

Comments

Terry Yelmene

First, I celebrate Ted Lasso's return. I mean after only about 5 minutes, there's a state of joy that returns that you didn't even realize wasn't present until you're back in it. Ted however was a bit detached and questioning which feels wrong, until he was being THAT COACH 'TED' LEADER again down in the sewer and in front of the press. I don't think Ted can help it... he IS Optimism about BELIEF and TEAM. What a wonderful commentary Jacqui makes regarding the start and the possible arcs for each character and I agree with every word... my only caveat being I think Rebecca and Nate have the furthest and the most on the line in this season. (Oh and Keeley 's end must be back to where she belongs - Richmond and Roy!) Fantastic React ! Let's go!

Aw thank you! And for sure, I'm curious to see where everybody ends the season--particularly Nate, Rebecca, Roy, and Keeley. Just grateful to finally have Ted Lasso back!

Finally got to watching it. I just want to add that season 1 started and ended with closeups of Rebecca. Season 2 started and ended with closeups of Nate. Season 3 started with a closeup of Ted, likely meaning that is how we will end the season. Another sign this is the last season. Great recap and love all your insights.

GREAT POINT! I'd never thought about that. Thank you!

Oh my god, Rupert is literally the Emperor from Star Wars in that office.

Movie Night

And may he meet a similar fate (literally or metaphorically--I'll take either 😂). But I do see him being betrayed by Nate in the same way that Vader threw off Palpatine

I happened to re-watch your reaction as well as the Shameless reaction to Season 2. Something in S3 E1 may suggest how the season could end. While Richmond is predicted to be at the bottom of the rankings, West Ham is predicted to be in the top 4. I wonder if the ranking leaves room for a happy and sad season ending all at once. (Happy ending) Richmond improves enough to beat Rupert (West Ham) in the rankings but fails to "win the whole thing" (sad ending).

I don't think Dani Rojas ever forgave Zoreaux for telling him other people wrote on Paddington Bear's twitter account.

That definitely explains his behavior later in the season 😄

Did anyone catch that Nate was quoting “Get to Know You” from the musical The King and I at the beginning of his pressy? It’s been awhile since this was posted, so hopefully someone has pointed it out to you by now.
