I had to make a tough decision. Watch the episode for the first time with your reaction or watch the finale in advance. I decided to go with the latter so that I could look forward to and enjoy your reactions. For example, I was really looking forward to your reaction to the start of the opening kitchen scene. I appreciate that we got the wrap up for Zava, Shandy, Becs, and Miss Cakes at the newsstand in the airport. I spent about five minutes pausing and rewinding to read all the headlines and blurbs.

Just finished watching your reaction video, and I have two thoughts: first, after we watched the finale, I COULD NOT WAIT to see your reaction to the cold open misdirect, and I was NOT disappointed 😂. Second, I kind of have to disagree that Zava was filler. I think it was important for Jamie to see himself in the funhouse mirror that was Zava. The over the top behavior, him tearing off his shirt and crooking his thumbs at his back like Jamie did in S1 (not to mention the tattoo of Zava being the more ridiculous version of Jamie’s name on the back of his Jersey). Follow these with the team not expecting Jamie to do anything more than score, even though everyone else was practicing taking on each other’s roles (and his puzzled but slightly disappointed reaction to that), culminating with Jamie understanding his true role (“through meh, not to meh”). That was, to me, at least one catalyst for (forgive me) growth (🥃). Thank you so much for these videos!

My own two cents: I don't think Beard offered Nate the assistant kitman job - I think Beard offered Nate an assistant coach job, but NATE wanted - well, he kind of needed - to go back to the bottom and earn his way back. Even if everyone else has forgiven him, he hasn't forgiven himself. Not yet. Not quite. And finally, I will echo Jack in thanking you for your videos - we look forward to seeing what you do next (and we look forward to you and Sam commenting on things too!

So there is a fun honor in the last episode to an actual 4th tier English soccer team. AFC Wimbledon is a team that is owned by its fans. Their original team was moved by the people who owned it so they recreated the team from scratch and worked their way up the levels of English soccer. They now are in the 4th tier of professional English soccer. They are partially sponsored by John Green the youtuber who wrote Fault in our Stars which gets a shout out by Jamie in the Windmill episode. Phil Dunster is also a big fan of both John and AFC Wimbledon so I think they are the inspiration for the idea of Rebecca selling half the team to the fans.
