Hey guys! I'm working out my schedule for February, and I wanted to check in real quick. I had planned on running a new poll after I finished each season of The Expanse, to see if it was still a priority. But you guys have made it clear it's a big one for you! Since there are so many episodes, my tentative plan right now is to do "Part 1 & Part 2" of each season on YouTube once i've finished the WHOLE show, rather than after I finish each season. That way YouTube doesn't have to wait months between seasons. So, just to be safe, I wanted to ask if I should...

I think one or two episodes a week is great, seasons 1 to 3 are the series strong points. Don't get me wrong, the whole show is great but it's that seaons 1 to 3 that get you hooked. Taking breaks will leave us hanging and you'll want more anyway so. 😂

The one issue is that Season 1 is not the complete first book. The first book doesn't wrap up until the 4th or 5th episode of the second season, and then it immediately goes into the second book with the rest of the second season, so taking a break might be confusing.

Based on your excitement at the end of episode 3, you're going to love this whole series. It is very binge-worthy depending on your release schedule. The whole first season, really, is world building and set up that will be called back to until the very end. Rest assured, though, that the plot of Season 1 becomes clear soon and the series is very good about answering your questions in later episodes. Some issues you'll run into are that there will be some episodes that are essentially 2-parters you will want to watch back-to-back, Seasons 2 and 3 are 13 episodes each instead of 10, Season 2 Episode 5 ends Book 1 of the novels while Season 3 Episode 6 ends Book 2 of the novels, etc. Doing clean half season edits for YouTube will be a little messy to deal with coherently but not impossible.
