Over on Discord, someone asked if I had done any videos explaining my education, and what sort of careers people with my degree tend to have. I know I've touched briefly on film school in live streams, and we've chatted a bit about things on Discord/in the comments, but I've never actually done a video talking about it! So, per request, I'm going to put one together going a little more in depth with my background. If you have any questions, now's your chance!I'll prep some things to talk about, but I'd love to answer specific questions. It would be really helpful to know what kinds of things you guys are interested in...film school, work I've done, what got me into movies, reactions, etc. Let's keep it to film--I'm not going to go into personal stuff, but otherwise...fire away!

Please leave questions in the comments here, or send me a DM on Patreon, just so I don't have to chase them down all over Discord 😊 Thank you!

I'll break the ice. What/who got you into movies and did that influence affect your decision to go to film school and work in the business?

Chris G

A multi-parter for you: Coming out of film school, were there any particular directors that you really looked up to? As you've gone through this reaction process, have you added any to that list?

Hunter Tober-McGivern

Through conversing on Discord I know you are a Daniel Sloss fan. What other comedians are you a fan of?

Jonnzo

Do you think the number of 5/5 star films (according to you) per decade has increased, decreased or stayed around the same? Rough estimate or general feeling.

Einherj

What are your pet peeves in films? Small things that others might not even notice that break your suspension of disbelief and pull you out, even just for a moment. I've noticed most people have these, and they are very different. Sometimes they are very specific and make no sense to others, which makes them fun to talk about.

Alfy

What are your favourite classic tv shows? Mine would be The Golden Girls and M*A*S*H

Chris LaLonde

When you first decided to go to film school, what was your dream job? Did your dream job change at all while you were in school or any time after you graduated?

Lee Aguera

When you decided to start doing reactions, putting them on Patreon and YouTube, did you watch other reaction channels to see what's popular and what some commentary would look like, or did you want to go into everything blind and just do your own thing?

Alex Amerling

How did you decide to study fim?

Derek H.

Which specific things (if any) does your education or work history lead you to pay particular attention to when watching a movie or show, whether or not those things are of enough general interest to make it into your edited reactions?

Trey Porter

What made want to become a platform diver? Did you ever think about taking it further towards going pro or the Olympics? Did you still follow the sport today?

Rick

Have you considered reviewing any Blake Edwards movies? The Great Race, SOB, and Victor/Victoria are all excellent.

Russell Roberts

You have stated on many occasions that Gilmore Girls is one of your favorite shows, and you rewatch it almost every year. So what are some other movies and TV shows that you can watch repeatedly, and what about them appeals to you and makes them so rewatchable?

Russell Roberts

One more question: Which actors do you find yourself willing to watch anything they are in, and has this burned you ever? As in, you watched something they were in and discovered it was a completely terrible movie/show?
