Alright so this one dude on tumblr asked me a comission with Izumi, Fairymon and Ranamon and after sending different sketches gave me the ok to work on it, but after a few hours in asked me to cancel the commission because again he didn't like the sketch. I feel a little bit sorry, because I could have used this time in a different way, also, I was pretty open to change again the pose, but I can assure you guys I was drawing exactly what the commissioner asked me. Too bad I guess.

I don't understand why people do this, the sketch looks neat and I'm sorry they cancelled it 😓

Thank you! I don't want to blame the guy, but we could have worked together at the type of pose he could have preferred. Another reason to send references to artists before commission them I suppose. 🤷

Back in the day when I drew commissions I asked for any reference possible to avoid things like this so I understand. Fortunatelly nobody cancelled me a commish 🤞🏼 Did they at least pay you? (even if just a %?)

Dang, sorry your time and effort went unappreciated like that.

Valtren & Liecomj

I always ask for references too, but most of the time they don't send me anything so I'm used to it at this point, I can only hope he finds another artists that understand him better. Or literally reads his mind idk. xD Yeah, paid me a little %, so we chill, but the attitude was there and I didn't appreciate it.

It may indeed happen, I just didn't like his attitude of: man, you're working shittier than expected, bye

Kinnikufan

Aw, that was rather mean of him. Not a good attitude to have towards anyone, really, but I know from experience that you do good work. Maybe this is a sign that I should reach out with my Izumi and Ranamon idea sometime soon.

I'm so sorry that situation wound up like that. This looks like it was turning out very well regardless, I can't imagine what they didn't like. Oh well.
