Holy smokes, folks! Can you believe that (for some of us) the holiday weekend is almost here?! We're taking a little holiday time ourselves, so there will not be a new On-Screen Live today, just wanted to make sure everyone was on the same page there. That said, we will of course be flush with show drops here on Patreon, so let's see what's happenin' in the WHMu this week!

First up tomorrow, we welcome our good buddy and co-host of Hooked On TJ Hooker, Ben Worcester back to the show to tackle the dreadful comedy sequel, Paul Blart: Mall Cop 2! That's right, he's back, he's in Vegas, and he's still a complete and total asshole! You'll be able to hear us suffer through this abysmal movie AD-FREE here on Patreon, starting at the $8 level! Then on Friday, we're getting ready for Deadpool & Wolverine by turning out a brand-new We ❤️ Movies covering the fantastic 2017 film, Logan! That's right, arguably one of the finest comic book films ever released, we're going gaga for James Mangold's bloody, profane masterpiece. This one was a lotta fun to record and we've all been fans of the flick since it came out, so we of course did nearly 2 1/2 hours on the sucker. And you'll be able to get in on the fun at the $5 level and up! That'll do it for new releases this holiday weekend, however if you're looking for something patriotic to put on in between all the hot dogs, Bud Heavies and illegal fireworks, why not revisit (or enjoy for the first time) our syncable commentary on the classic July 4th sci-fi fave, Independence Day! This track, and all our commentaries of course, is available at the $8 level and up! That's gonna do it for this week. Remember, y'all, if you're getting wild and celebrating July 4th this weekend, please do so safely and with class! Don't get hurt with fireworks, grill your meats thoroughly, and ABSOLUTELY NO DRINKING AND DRIVING!

Thanks so much for being the kick-ass Patreon subscribers that you all are.

i forgot there was a paul blart 2...how the hell did they even make a sequel (granted i never saw part 1...but still haha)

Dominic Kovell

IMO this was in the golden age of "We might as well make a sequel" movies! Theaters aren't doing so hot right now and that's bad, but a silver lining is that we usually don't get useless wide releases like Blart 2 anymore.

MarkNM

Deuce Bigalow 2, Grown-Ups 2...you'll forget them all. At least Joe Dirt 2 had the dignity to go straight to Crackle and die.

Frank Grimes

Was Paul blart a happy Madison production? If so that explains everything. I wish I was Adam Sandler's friend hahahah

Wesley Hall

Deuce Bigalow… TWO? Oh god… and it was directed by Mike Bigelow… I hate the fucking early 00s.

Will H.

aww man, i was looking forward to a Horizon AAS review. I loved it

John Locke

Oh dear god. Not a mall cop sequel. Should be a fun episode.

Britt

Okay, theoretically, what episode WOULD Ira Glass co-host on? I'm trying to think....

Dominic Kovell

Adam Sandler spoils his buds. You'd get lots of free cruises/vacation spots, a fat paycheck, you barely have to act, and your character gets an unreasonably hot spouse.
