It's our monthly trip to SoCal in the '90s on MELR0210!

First up on Beverly Hills, 90210, it's the sort-of-Jim-Walsh-centric episode, "Midlife... Now What?" Originally airing on January 13, 1993, this ep features Brandon falling even harder for Lady Gambling, Jackie Silver's old coke connection working at the spa the gals all go to, Cindy worrying about Jim Walsh falling for his sexy office assistant, and Dylan still hemming and hawing over Brenda and Kelly!

Then over on Melrose Place, things are getting even more nuts on "In-Laws and Outlaws." First airing back on September 26, 1994, this episode features Sidney battling creep-tacular attendants in the mental institution, Matt finding out Kimberly's wig-related secret, Jo dealing with Reed's eerie parents, Jake repeatedly getting down with Kathy Ireland, Palmer Woodward twirling his mustache, and Billy absolutely incinerating his engagement to Alison.

MELR0210 is a WHM podcast where the guys blissfully stroll through the Beverly Hills, 90210 and Melrose Place timelines. The TV episodes covered will run in broadcast order unless otherwise specified.

Thanks so much for continuing to support the WHM Patreon! We know you have a lot of options when it comes to podcast entertainment and we're grateful you chose to spend some time with us. You're way cooler than Dylan McKay!Cover art by Felipe Sobreiro.

Kuato (and the freedom brigade)

The music swap out is hilarious in this one, it's almost as funny as them editing out the flaming lips performance yet leaving in steve saying "it's so cool to see these guys in a small venue" 😂

I knew Brandon was in trouble with his gambling when I heard he was putting money on the fucking Knicks. Yikes.

Just like Eric, I just haven't had a massage purely out of pity for the masseuse

"Yku give Steve Sanders a full dance card and he'll definitely fuck your day yo" - Andrew Jupin

I've never heard the term 'touch house' until today, and am now wondering how I've lived this long without it.

We Hate Movies

I’d never heard it until Eric said it into the microphone! - Andrew

Betting on the Knicks in January ‘93 was definitely NOT a bad bet to make on the NBA that season. They went all the way to the Eastern Conference finals and lost to the Bulls, so not too shabby a season. - Andrew

WarOfTheBees

In fairness, I barely remember 2023, let alone 1993.

Eren Keskin

One verbal blowjob for the table, please

Rose Esposito

"Wig, okay." "Did you just say wig?? I know, wig. I feel that."

Charles Grodin's Toupee is Having Fargo Sex

Just imagine the balls of Dylan McKay thinking he can grow up to not only marry Jim Walsh's daughter, but also have Jim Walsh's HOUSE? The nerve of that guy.

Rod

My mom was def a Chicken Soup for the Soul person. My dad didn’t finish middle school so he didn’t read for fun lol.

Troy Thompson

"touch house" caused a legit spit take

Those were the Ewing, Starks days. That team could hoop

Busiris

Just the way Cabin cackles when talking about the scene where Matt snatches Kimberly's wig... So delightful. XD

Jon Wika

How many truck stops have hand written signs that say "Touch House" It totally sums up why I do not want a massage. Perfect.
