Happy Monday, folks! Hard to believe that March is just about over already! Holy smokes, how did that happen? Probably because we've been so busy recording and releasing all these solid listener-requested shows this month, right? Well, anywho, we've got a few more listener requests to get through before the month is out, so let's see what's happening in the WHMu this week:

On WHM tomorrow, the final LRM selection has us getting rowdy talking about the disappointingly tame horror film, Wish Upon! Hear us WISH for a better movie, AD-FREE on here at the $8 level and up!

The on Thursday, we're releasing the final listener-curated show of the month as we chat about two wildly different episodes of Star Trek: Deep Space Nine on The Nexus! In the ep, we're covering the incredible Tony Todd-led episode, "The Visitor," along with the absolutely ridiculous sex pest episode, "Fascination." Hear us talk about these eps, and miss our guy Tony Todd something fierce, right here on Patreon at the $8 level and up! Then on Friday, we're closing out the week by dropping the hotly anticipated new commentary track we recorded on David Fincher's The Game! This one's a particularly under-discussed Fincher film and we had a ball re-watching it for y'all—it'll make a perfect watch-a-long this weekend, for real. Be sure to check that out on here at the $8 level and up!

Big thanks to Felipe Sobreiro once again for creating another fantastic commentary track cover!

That'll do it for this week, y'all! Make sure you join us later today at noon/eastern on our YouTube channel for On-Screen Live! We're gonna be playing catch-up by reviewing a bunch of stuff we've seen over the last few weeks, so don't miss it!

We hope you all have a fantastic week and that things go smoothly for you until we can all get back to the weekend once again! As always, we appreciate every single one of you and send our sincerest thanks for continuing to be the kick-ass supporters you are!

I’ll say this—Patrick Schwarzenegger is a better actor than his dad. His line delivery is noticeably stronger. I mean, can you imagine Arnold in his son’s role in The White Lotus? ‘I DIDN’T SLEEP WITH MY BROTHER—UGLAA—UGLAA—UGLAA!!’

Tim Batson

Can't wait for the Nexus this month!

RJ Cunningham

There was a definite set-up for the dad to hook-up with the main character’s friend and they never went back to it. Thought they were gonna have Phillippe be a sex pest as one of the evil consequences

Charles Grodin's Toupee is Having Fargo Sex

Sure Patrick is a better actor overall, but could he sell a line like "Rubber baby buggy bumpers" the way his father could? I don't think so, I don't think so.

I just want to throw out a big THANK YOU for a totally hilarious month. I saw folks on various platforms bemoan the line-up this month because they're not all widely-known oft-requested bangers. I thought every episode so far was top shelf comedy, and I would say that even if one of the episodes was not one I requested.

lol that's exactly what I called it in the episode! - Andrew

Will the Wishmaster himself make an appearance in Wish Upon?

RJ Cunningham

Oh come now Cousin Paul, Arnold’s acting ability is something different than any actor ever. He carried entire movies while being this liminal-human, standing out like a cartoon character, yet could exist in a human world to a level where you can withhold disbelief for at least 85 minutes. Arnold is on the Mt. Rushmore of “all-time movie stars.”

Paul

GET TO DA CHOPPA!

RJ Cunningham

Also, is Jerry O’Connell really this desperate for work?

Brandon Mack

I’m going to have to wiki this one cause I’ve never even heard of this before (which is a rarity for me)

I was listening to this episode while I was eating dinner and I almost choked laughing when you nonchalantly used "Meet Joe Black" as a verb. Good stuff

Francesca Gravatt

Grew up with a Jazz Dad, can confirm it’s better than Garbage Dad (light Hoarder Dad tendencies notwithstanding)
