On our commentary track for the super-fun sequel, John Wick: Chapter 2, we’re sitting back in awe as Wick shoots, stabs, punches, and kicks his way through New York City, Rome, and then New York City again! How great is all the car stuff at the beginning at Peter Stormare’s operation? Did they really need to open up the mythology of the assassin world with all these coins and rules and what not? Does John Wick live in a barren, personality-free Airbnb? And could Franco Nero’s mustachioed ninja from Enter the Ninja give John Wick a run for his money? PLUS: This time, the dog lives!John Wick: Chapter 2 stars Keanu Reeves, Lance Reddick, Riccardo Scamarcio, Ian McShane, Ruby Rose, Common, Claudia Gerini, John Leguizamo, Bridget Moynihan, Thomas Sadoski, Franco Nero, Peter Serafinowicz, and Laurence Fishburne as the Bowery King; directed by Chad Stahelski.

Well, looks like I have some weekend movie watching to do, as I haven't seen ANY of the John Wick movies (I know, I know...) look forward to it!!

Wick 2mentary!! I've got a half day of work and this beauty drops in my lap. Thank you WHM 😎 which is the best kill in this movie ?!

I heard that the angry New Yorker who went viral after yelling at a trumpet player was going to be the next John Wick, but he demanded guns to have no sound at all, so they had to let him go.

Eric said he’s got an eel. Who does he think he is—Samson from “28 Years Later”?

Clever Girl

Watch that opening fight scene and then realize Keanu was 52 in this film. One of the guys thought he was 45 and was impressed. The truth is much more impressive.

Michael Nigrey

Watching it on Peacock with commercials. Gotta be fast with the pause button to keep it in sync.

JK

Watched on Netflix in Canada and dealt with the same issue. Certainly keeps you engaged anyway lol

"Hey gentlemen, pack up that crime" I was laughing out loud less than ten minutes in

The commentary really sold me on getting Richard Kind into the John Wick series. It needs to happen!!

WarOfTheBees

There are two moments in history that have made me proud to be an American: One is the moon landing and the other is when we, as a nation, stood as one and said "no more" to continued appearances of Ruby Rose.

You get coins in the military for doing something commendable but not worth an official award. Senior enlisted and officers hand them out using their own money. They don't mean shit (I mean what award does when you're out?) but it's a nice acknowledgement. I have one for whooping the shit out of a drunk in our barracks. Obviously they can't "reward" that but our Sergeant Major thought it was hot shit so he gave me a coin.

Did I hear Steve right he thinks 2 is better then 4. I don’t think so I think it’s the worse in the series. Glad that Chris shut that down.

Tim Batson

Another brilliant commentary!

MrBonesMildBride

John Wick vs. Vampires: Blood Debts. Great commentary guys, had a blast.

I quit drinking 2 years ago, which on the whole was a decision I’m glad I made but these commentaries make me want to knock back 3-4, or maybe it was my dad dying last month and encroaching fascism. Ah well, either way you guys cheer me up always.

The NYC magic geography comments cracked me up. The movies Zero Effect and The Hunted take some serious liberties with how PDX is laid out.

A good strip club name would be the cuntinental
