On this edition of our Lifetime Movie re-cap show, we're chatting about the outrageous Jennifer Love Hewitt family drama, The Client List!

How pathetic is this Al Bundy-esque husband? Is that true about pumpkin spice like they say in the movie? How obnoxious is this Cybill Shepherd "Mamma" character? What are they thinking is going to go down in this bank meeting? And how hilarious is that coke-fueled cake-baking scene?

The Client List stars Jennifer Love Hewitt, Teddy Sears, Sonja Bennett, Lynda Boyd, Chelah Horsdal, Heather Doerksen, Kacey Rohl, Kandy's McClure, and Cybill Shepherd as Cassie Dale; directed by Eric Laneuville.

Imagine my chagrin when I get 45 minutes into watching this and realize it’s the TV show…

Matt Reid

I really wanted to watch this before I listened, but could only find it to purchase for $13. Does anyone know where it is streaming for free or I'd even rent it.

Rose Esposito

As Rod noted, Tubi is a liar and claims to have the movie when it is in fact the TV series. I found a good 🏴‍☠️ stream just from googling "watch online free," just remember to include "2010" to get the actual movie. Cannot get over that this woman has a *perfect memory* and yet apparently never thought of channeling that into a career. This is what misogyny does to society, people!!!

What are you talking about not going to a whore house after a football game. It was a major plot point in Best little whorehouse in Texas. It even got a song.

Busiris

The only way I could watch it was via a TV rip on Archive.org. It did the job perfectly.

If Jenifer love Hewitt was giving rub and tugs that place would be closed in a week. The line all the way to Dairy Queen would give the business away to the cops. Plus she’d have the worst carpal tunnel syndrome and callouses on her hands she’d retire early.

Busiris

Interesting double-standard in my head: All the southern drawls in the movie? Annoying. All the southern drawls in this episode? Amazing.

More like... Jennifer TUG Hewitt!

For some bizzare reason i thought the client list tv show and movie was like an american version of the UK show diary of a call girl, my wife and I were so disappointed lol.

Anytime I hear the name Jennifer Love Hewitt I think of the worst date I ever went on. I took her to a Jamie Kennedy show at a local improv (wasn't a fan, just recognized the name. Jamie was dating JLH at the time so she was waiting with him at the exit. After forcing my date to sit through a Jamie Kennedy set I then took her back to my car to bring her home, but my car wouldn't start and so I called a father figure and he had to come down and get my car to work. I didn't get another date after that

I mean… that sucks but it honestly doesn’t sound THAT bad.

Real “good morning, beautiful” vibes here.

All the many scenes of Jennifer Love and the girls sitting around talking about their bodies just made me think of Inland Empire lol

I'd watch Tiny Dick Judge if it acts like the thing from Brain Damage The post game brothel visit reminds me of 1986 Best Of Times which i just recently watched the first time. Robin Williams keeps going to see an out of town hooker just to complain about a high school football game he lost that everyone else is tired of him complaining about.

In WA state there's happy ending massage places all over the place that somehow stay in business. Ten years ago I screwed up my back and couldn't get in anywhere for a few weeks to get it professionally taken care of. I tried to go to a sketchy massage place late at night and after a few minutes of rubbing my back she wanted to move on to other things. I told her I was just here for my back and she says... "Oh...well...we really don't do that here" and she gave me my money back. Tried another place not far away from there and sane thing happened.

Tbf sex work should be legal as long as it's ethical.

That many Dallas fans in a city that close to Houston? Idk about that.
