It's crazy how the term "Stan" has become used more in non hip-hop conversations and catching on as a general term for the super fan. Within Hip-Hop, Stan has been used since Nas' popularized it in Ether (2001) as a diss towards Jay-Z over his fanboying of Nas' career. It is indeed based off the Eminem song of the same name, but wasn't really used as an actual term/diss until Nas dropped it.

Dear god, I'm so glad y'all decided to take this to task. BvS is just perplexingly terrible enough to be somewhat watchable from a standpoint of morbid curiosity.... but I honestly think this is my least favorite movie of all time.
