Hi everybody! We hope you all had a fantastic and safe Halloweekend filled with much candy, horror movies, and various other seasonal shenanigans. If you were one of the dedicated psychos who ran the New York Marathon yesterday, we hope you're recovering nicely and just know, we were cheering for you from our couches!

It's hard to believe November is already here, but hey, the sooner we can close the door on 2026, the better! So let's see what happening in the WHMu this week:

First up later today, don't miss us hitting the airwaves at noon/eastern on YouTube for the latest installment of On-Screen Live! On this show, we'll be reviewing Clayface and the new restored, definitive cut of Ken Russell's The Devils. We'll also be welcoming on our longtime bud and collaborator, friend of the show and brilliant artist, Felipe Sobreiro! At a dinner here in New York a couple weeks ago, Felipe was telling us about all the rad projects he's working on and we wanted to get him on to plug all this cool work he's been up to lately. So don't miss this one, it's gonna be a good time!

Tomorrow kicks off We ❤️ Movies month on the main show, and we've got a real banger lineup of classics we'll be talking about every Tuesday this month. First up tomorrow, the Orson Welles-directed and co-starring crooked cop noir, Touch of Evil! Yes, Heston playing a Mexican fella is just about as dated as it gets, but boy, Welles was never more dastardly than when he portrayed this disgusting cop, Captain Hank Quinlan. Released two years before Janet Leigh made us all scared of taking a shower, this film is worth revisiting IOHO. You can check out the convo, chock-full of Welles impressions, on here AD-FREE at the $8 tier & up!

And on Thursday, we're closing out the week by releasing our paywalled full-length episode that's normally a W❤️M, but because we're in our Mirror Universe November month, we're releasing a WHM episode on the JCVD Die Hard rip-off, Sudden Death! Yes, the one where he's foiling Powers Boothe and a gang of vaguely-developed terrorist characters! And yes, this is one of the most requested titles in all of Listener Request Month history, so we're stoked to finally just pull the trigger and cover this wild-ass movie! You can get in on the fun on here at the $5 tier & up!

That'll do it for this week, folks! We hope to see you all later today for On-Screen Live, however if we miss you, we hope that our shows dropping this week can provide some much-needed distraction and laughs as we all move toward the weekend once again!

As always, we thank you all so much for continuing to be the kick-ass Patreon supporters that you are!

Take it easy,

I've never seen Touch of Evil before but in turning it on I realized that I was shown a bit of it in a film class 20 years ago. You guys are so great in bringing in more academic discussion with classics like this I decided to shut it off, wait to listen to the episode and then watch the movie when I have greater appreciation for it. I now secretly hope the plot lends itself to exclusively non-stop cum jokes

I'm planning to watch Touch of Evil tonight on Prime -- anyone know how to turn on NIGHT. VISION. on a Roku TV? I don't see the button, but I want to respect the master's intention. thx!

They actually produced special goggles in the 50s called Nite-O-Vision, but they contain polonium-210 in each lens, and that could be a bad time.

aw man :\ I don't wanna be the Toxic Avenger, that's so much work.

Knew I held on to my TOE DVD for a reason
