On this month's full-length PATRONS-ONLY bonus episode, the gang chats about one of the most deceptively titled slashers in horror history: Friday the 13th Part VIII: Jason Takes Manhattan! Why are both of these teachers so horny for their students? Why not set the whole film in Manhattan and just film in Toronto? And who boxes on a class trip? PLUS: "Livin' in the city and it's no big deal!"— GENIUS.

Friday the 13th Part VIII: Jason Takes Manhattan stars Kane Hodder, Jensen Daggett, Barbara Bingham, Peter Mark Richman, Ace the Dog, Saffron Henderson, Martin Cummins, Vincent Craig Dupree, Sharlene Martin, and Kelly Hu; directed by Rob Hedden.Thank you for continuing to support our crazy endeavor! Hopefully this is the last time we ever watch this film in our lives!

It still boggles my mind how he was able to guide that lil boat from Crystal Lake to some other boat in the ocean.

FREAKY FRIDAY THE 13TH where Dracula and Jason are arguing about which monster has it worse and THAT'S how you get your movie of Dracula killing New Jerseyans and Jason killing Romanians.

Aaron

This might be one of my favorite episodes ever

Felipe Sobreiro

I'm already doing the cover to the JasonLivesmentary right now, BTW

I seriously think there should be a famous director grab bag scenario now. It would force them to work out of their comfort zones, and give us some strange, bold movies. PTA's Ghoulies, John Woo's Critters, Cronenberg's Care Bears LOL

I love this stupid movie because Jason is basically the only character in it who isn't a selfish asshole. This ep is really hits the sweet spot for me. And I'd pay real money to see Tim Burton's Friday the 13th with Danny DeVito as Jason.

Brian Moore

Lars Von Trier's Transformers would be adored by the critics, I just know it.

I've seen this movie a billion times and never heard the laugh. Wow.

Jarrod Hornbeck

This was an absolute joy to listen to. I feel about this episode the way I did about the episode for A New Beginning. It’s that feeling of people talking about things you’ve noticed or discussed a million times, but in a way funnier manner. I love this terrible, stupid movie. I was so eager to hear this one, and it didn’t disappoint.

That story explains a lot about Eric

Frank Grimes

and yes the Metropolis song at the beginning and end of the movie is so fucking kick ass! Especially love it in the end while the screen pans up from Times Square

Ryan Barker

CWall

Why the fuck were they on an industrial cargo boat for a high school?
