On this month's very special We Love Movies-inspired edition of the The Nexus, the gang is chatting about the best Trek film ever made, Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan! Would you look at Kirk's killer bachelor pad? Is Bones running illegal hooch using Starfleet resources? And just sit back and marvel at the fabulous performance from Ricardo Montalban! PLUS: Kirk and Khan play sitcom roommates!

Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan stars William Shatner, Leonard Nimoy, DeForest Kelley, Ricardo Montalban, George Takei, Nichelle Nichols, James Doohan, Walter Koenig, Bibi Besch, Paul Winfield, Kirstie Alley, and Merritt Butrick; directed by Nicholas Meyer.

Thank you so much for continuing to support this totally surreal endeavor! You all make it worth it! Special WLM-inspired cover art by Felipe Sobreiro.

TIME AFTER TIME is with Malcolm McDowell and Star Trek recurring guest star David Warner (from two of the movies and as the torturer in TNG's "there are four lights" episode). Christopher Reeve's not in it - he's in SOMEWHERE IN TIME

I have been marathoning the movies, Mars is colonized because Picard mentions one of his ancestors was one of the first Martial colonists

And CHEERS to you, too, guys. That was a lovely, touching toast at the end there. Thank you for your dedication. Happy to be a part of your success. Long may it continue. Lots of love and merry Christmas. XXXX

Outstanding stuff : it's been a great Christmas and you've done some great work!! … and now I'm off to listen to my just-downloaded 'Batman (1989)' !

Oh this is a stupid thing to put where people can read. I know this isn’t the sort of movie you guys would do one for but “Wrath of Kahn-mentary” is a good pun that just rolls off the tongue just the choicest of manners.

Wow, a mention of The Pack, thats when I came into We Hate Movies.

Nebulas are the remnants of exploded stars, which necessarily contain the same elements and raw materials of a planet, so yes, in theory, the Genesis Device could work on a nebula. Except, nebula are extremely rare, which is to say, they have low density, not that they are unusual, so actually you guys are probably right that it wouldn't work.

Edward Carlson

Agreed! These guys really appreciate their loyal fans, and I love this Podcast. May they cover all Trek ever made!
