Jack Davenport

Derek Horn

Who would be the worst celebrity to sit next to in a theater. This comes from your QT impressions. Derek-Wichita,Ks

Erin

Erin from Alberta, Canada- what are some of the most inappropriate reactions you had to moments in movies? (Laughing during a dramatic moment, scoffing at emotional scenes, etc)

David Ferland-McCollough

David for Montreal, Canada Now that QT will be doing an actual Bounty Law TV show, is there any other "movie inside a movie" or "TV show inside a movie" you'd like to see produced? xxx

Cairn Michie

Cairn (Paisley, Scotland - Hometown of all American Gerard Butler)... What predominantly comedic actor would you like to see do an Uncut Gems-esque turn?

Tyler The Destroyer

Hey Gang it’s Tyler writing from Michigan I’ve asked through twitter as a joke but now I’m very curious If there was a We Hate Movies motion picture who would you guys want to play each of you in that movie? My personal favorite is Werner Herzog fro Eric lmao

Jacob Curry

Jacob from Nebraska - You guys brought up Margot Robbie’s line in OUATIH regarding her being in the movie when she was at the box office of the theater buying a ticket. Your past/current jobs in the theater industry made me wonder if a celebrity came up to you and mentioned they were in the movie, would you let them in for free? Any celebrities you’d deny?

Matthew Seelig

Matt from Chicago - Uncut Gems was great, but it made me want to never live in NYC again. Has there ever been a movie that’s given you a (wholly irrational) dislike for a city?

Wajed Doumani

Doumani from Beirut, Lebanon. I understand it's perfectly fine to like a movie but which one is more frustrating: Green Book or Ford v Ferrari?

Anon

Anon from MI. I'd be interested to read more about the shitty "I'm the captain now" letter Andrew tweeted about, and what other kind of poor communications any of you have had from distributors that might be a good story.

Felipe Sobreiro

Felipe from Brazil: what's a movie you will NEVER watch? Not for the show, mind you, I mean personally.

Nicolas Martin

Nick from Germany: Did you ever watch a film scene for the first time and completely misinterpret it?

Maggie0401

Hi guys. As it's February... I know you don't do many RomComs (and it's not my favourite genre) but how about identifying one or two that you find enjoyable or maybe even love? Or which one you find intolerable (probably easier). Maggie from London, England. Xx P.s, Thank you for not spoiling the Mandalorian on your other episodes. I'm having to save all your 'half hours' until after 31st March. 😬

HologramThis

Brett from the 216 (Cleveland) Have any of you guys bought into the 4K movie players and if so what's your favorite so far on it?

verygooster

Gustavo from Jersey City - Loved the OUATIH episode as well as the movie. Since you call it a hanging out movie can you recommend any other fun “slice of life” “hanging out” movies? Thanks!

Misha Stryker

Misha from Scotland = What's the best New York City theatre you can recommended to tourists interested in films?

Raeven Rose

Bridget from Long Island - Hey Guys, is there a drama or horror movie you have vowed to NEVER watch again? Mine is Ichi the Killer (Japanese film)

Brandon Morreale

Brandon from Milwaukee – Do you have any movies that you have an irrational (or rational) dislike for, having not even seen it?

Alex Roberts

Hey guys, Alex from Wirral, England. If the MCU began in the early 90s, who would you cast as the Avengers using actors that were around at the time?

Arien

Arien (Erin) from Portland: The podcasters of Worst Idea of All Time have watched each of these terrible movie once a week for one year: Grown Ups 2, Sex and the City 2, We Are Your Friends. Of the WHM catalogue, which would you pick if you had to watch it once a week for a year?

Daniel

Dan from La Crosse, WI. This may not apply to everyone but, I grew up in northwest Alabama and the closest theater was about 30 miles away. Even then that theater didn’t always have the movies we wanted to see growing up so friends and I would routinely travel even further when necessary. What is the farthest anyone has traveled to see a movie in the theater? Mine was certainly in ‘99 when I had to cross state lines to see South Park: Bigger, Longer, and Uncut due to it being all but banned in rural North Alabama.

Liam, a Goose

Liam from DC here! Piggybacking off the "hangout movie" vibes of Once Upon A Time... In Hollywood, if you could spend an afternoon in the world of any hangout movie, what would you pick?

Chris

Chris from LA (but grew up in Toronto): would love to hear any TIFF experiences/gossip you all have. I noted a *tone* in one of your mentions of the Toronto Film Fest.... a tone that suggested many a story lay beneath the surface!

Paul

Paul from San Francisco - What do you guys think of “Bad Boys 3: Bad Boys for Life”? Would you do an On-Screen episode on it?

Nick Karels

Nick from Hutchinson, Minnesota - I'm also delighted to hear the smattering of wrestling references you guys make on the podcast, and I wanted to know just what your relationship/experience is with the world of professional wrestling? I'll assume none of you currently watch professional wrestling, would you ever consider the idea of adapting the WHM film/TV/science-fiction-franchise-encyclopedia entry treatment to anything wrestling related?

Mitchal Sarter

Hey fellas, Mitch from Madison Wisconsin, has any film discussion ever caused an actual steamed argument (yelling, cursing, pouting) between the four of you?

Dominic Kovell

Hey guys, Dom from Ohio. What bad movies are coming out this year that y'all can't wait to jeer at? (Also, 10 cool points if you answer this too: You guys ever coming to Ohio or are you going to keep flying over us?)

Harken412

Harry from Indiana Could you guys recommend a few Valentine's Day movies, outside of Rom-Coms and Nicholas Sparks adaptations, for couples who don't celebrate V day in the traditional sense?

Ben Rockey

Hey WHM, when I was in high school I was so psyched when I saw the trailer for Looney Tunes Back In Action in theaters. I've always loved the Looney Tunes (even Space Jam) and was so psyched to see them on the big screen again. When I saw it I DID enjoy it a lot. But I also thought, "This isn't for everybody," Despite the movie "passable" quality, I watched it a LOT when it hit DVD. Like, "accidentally learned to quote the whole thing" a lot. It was the latest of only a few live-action-mixed-with-traditional-animation movies out there so I just kept watching it. I also was bummed that it completely bombed in theaters. I've tried to share it with folks but they never seem interested. (my fiance barely paid attention) and the thing is...I get it. It's just ok. Nonetheless, I still watch it, but will NOT recommend it to ANYONE just because I feel like no one will be interested. Are there any movies that you enjoy, maybe even really enjoy, that you will just not recommend to people because you think you're the only one who is getting anything out of it? Thanks, love the show! Ben

Brandon Cranford

Brandon in Chattanooga TN. You guys are celebrating a decade of the podcast. I have been a listener for close to 8 of those years and I don’t remember if any of you have changed your mind dramatically on a movie featured in an episode. Is there a movie you have covered that upon viewing years later you felt the opposite about? Either good to bad or bad to good. Thanks for everything!

Nolan W.

Hello again, Owners of Muldoon's Pub. Nolan from Indiana here and, with Valentine's Day looming, what's the worst Movie Date that you went on? I know that we've heard a few bummer dates from the gang but I didn't know if we've heard the worst that you all have to offer.

Robin Saraksen LB2UI

Robin from Norway. What is the most educational movie you have ever seen? (Reefer Madness does not count)

Lauren Dixon

Lauren from Australia. When they inevitably make a biographical film on the WHM guys (since who hasn’t got one now?) who would you have play yourselves? Would it be an Oscar bait movie? Thanks for the laughs my coworkers think I’m insane, Lauren

darrenfx

What are your favourite albums of 2019 and the 2010 decade?

Derek Toledo

Are you guys at all concerned that with the increasing sharing of streaming accounts and stealing entertainment that it's going to inevitably decrease the quality of future projects.

Evan

Evan from Oregon. You guys gotta review those two Ari Aster movies, if only for the conversation about that sex hut in Midsommar. THESE MOVIES ARE COMEDIES, I'M SURE OF IT! So please do Hereditary and Midsommar!!!! Also, saw the Portland show (had a blast please come back soon), and none of you were nearly as fat as I expected. I couldn't even tell which one of you look like shrek.

Sean Wilkins

My wife and I once watched "The One I Love" on Valentines Day, because we'd heard good things but didn't know what it was about. It was decidedly NOT a good choice for romance. Any stories of bad Valentines Day movie choices, or movies to avoid in general on Valentines Day?

Paul

If you could have ONE director to guest on WHM who would it be and what questions would you ask that filmmaker? -Paul, San Francisco

PlutoniumTorch

Hey guys! I’m curious if any of you played the video game Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order. It was kind of a buggy mess but the pacing of the story and the fun characters along with a neat lightsaber and force power upgrade system kept me hooked. It’s basically Guardians of The Galaxy with lightsabers and droids! Do you fine fellows have the time to keep up with video games these days? What are some of your favorites? With much appreciation- Jacob from Mobile

Paul

Do you guys have any film and television related resolutions for the new year? -Paul in San Francisco

Tristan

He Guys, for the show you tend to do a balnce over: -combing though movies with logic and opinion combs -compareing: actor, director, and filmograohy, -do a little improve (swartzenager and picard material lends itself more heavier leaning improve) - writing (write notes to craft good opinions). Do you guys have discussions on what the balance between those four things should be for a podcast or do you just keep it natural and flow with it? ideas of the show - instead of animation damnation you can do sitcom damnation (big bang, seinfeld, frasier), -20 minute improve audio bits for movie characters are in a different movie, (for the four of you, if someone isnt a voice person, they can just play striaght men or you could all play four stormtroopers. (i prefer episodes to improve but just giving you guys idea for grabbing base) - Tristan (Bloomington) Minnesota

Tom Ivers

Tom from Sydney Australia So with recasting 90's classics such as heat with today's actors all the rage on podcasts these days, I'd love to hear you guys flip the script and give me your 70's or 80's casting for once upon a time in Hollywood or the Irishman. Hang on, the 70's casting of the Irishman is exactly the same! Anyway maybe the joker or uncut gems or something. Insert generic comment about loving your work here. (Which I do! 😄)
