On this month's entry in the Gleep Glossary, Eric entertains the guys with the tale of another supposed leader who failed to stop a phantom menace, Jedi Master Qui-Gon Jinn! If only the world's tallest Jedi had lived long enough to retire to Tatooine and adopt a dumb alias! Was he actually more stubborn than a bantha? And why did Qui-Gon tell that reporter, unprompted, that he walked the streets looking to rough up Siths? PLUS: He was cremated with honors? Gleep Glossary: A Star Wars Story is a show where the guys try to honor the history and legacy of SW characters, most of whom we've been told don't matter anymore!

Thank you for continuing to support this weird, wild adventure we're on! You make this all possible!

Original cover art by friend of the show, the incredibly talented Felipe Sobreiro.

This is like, a lethal recording. It’s nearly killed me several times.

“The force is strong with this boy. I checked his blood and he is impressively healthy. Let me take him with me, away from his only parent. I’ll groom him, and take good care of him, like his new daddy. It won’t be creepy at all.” -Actually happened in a Star Wars movie.

Jake Kroker

The name of Qui-Gonn's home world cannot be any worse than Obi-Wan's home planet - Stewjon. Lucas said Obi-Wan was from Stewjon during an interview with Jon Stewart and it became canon.

Re: innappropriate names in genre fiction. Actual (SERIOUSLY) word-for-word quote from The Chronicles of Thomas Covenant Book One: "And as a token that what I say is the one word of truth, tell them this: Drool Rockworm, Cavewight of Mount Thunder, has found the Staff of Law, which was lost ten times a hundred years ago by Kevin at the Ritual of Desecration."

Frank Grimes

LMAO. Qui-Gon grooming is disgusting

QB

It looks like its canon now that Qui-Gon's instructor was Dooku, so Christopher Lee was Greg.

Paul

“Greeeg! Greg!” -Batfleck

Noah Goucher

Because my brain only has room for pointless trivia and minor plot details, I remember that Qui-Gon's master was Count Dooku. So he was trained by Christopher Lee!

Smaug

I did a 3rd grade science project on the planet Peepeepoopoo and it's unusual ecology

The Star Wars wiki is for sure just a bunch of nonsense, but go try to read a single page of the LotR wiki, it’s like trying to read German while getting whipped with a belt.

The Pee Pee Poo Pooen stuff had me laughing so freaking hard! Thanks guys
