WHM's catalog typically spans early 80's output, onwards. Do you folks plan on covering any film or TV from the early '70s, such as the disaster movies The Towering Inferno or Earthquake? - Fardeen from Greenfield, MA

Jordan

Hey all! Any chance of getting both Griffin and David of Blank Check together for a quarantine episode? - Jordan from Philly

Andrew Connor

Favourite beers to help you get through a shite movie? Andrew from Glasgow, Scotland

John Kinsella

Eric has the Gleep Glossary. Andrew has the Nexus. Steve had MELRO210. Where's Chris Cabin's mini show? There has to be a TV show he'd like to dive into. I suggest some kind of true crime/In Search Of/I didn't know I was pregnant situation. When are we getting Unsolved Christeries? John K. Washington, DC

Cody Downs

In honor of "Jaws" turning 45 years old & it being considered the first true summer blockbuster film (and the first film to ever gross over $100 mil), what is your favorite summer blockbuster film of all-time seeing in theaters & why? (As it is the WHM Summer Blockbuster Extravaganza) --- Cody Anchorage, AK

Junior Minty

What movies have you attended solely for the summer AC situation that you later regretted giving them your time and money? Charlie from Jackson Heights

Happy Panda One

My dad was the minister in the funeral scene of ‘Next of Kin,’ and I’ve been unable to listen to that episode because the Hollywood folks deleted his shots. However, he met Patrick Swayze, Liam Neeson, and Helen Hunt, and has stories on each. Patrick Swayze was an asshole. What’s the best way for me to share this story?

Harken412

What is a more disappointing experience, a bad movie (in theaters) or a bad concert? Ticket price aside. BTW, remember going to movies and concerts? Harry in Indianapolis

Autopsy of a Horror Movie

What is your opinion on Chris Nolan pushing hard for Tenet's theatrical release? Also, what are some "home releases" from this year that you'd highly recommend?

Dominic Kovell

Will you ever review the Lord of the Rings trilogy under the We Love Movies banner? Eric's mentioned that he's been rewatching them, and I'm kind of hoping this is a sign of future 4 hour WLM episodes.

Jamie M

We all know that Billy would fail up from LA cab driver to being in Trump's cabinet. The question is where would he would be appointed to in the cabinet? - Jamie from Baltimore

Charles Huffman

What movie did your opinion change the most on, for better or worse, when watching it for the show? Charles from Hardy, VA

Christopher Totten

It's crazy because I thought Eric said he hasn't even seen them.

Christopher Totten

If you had to do a month of WHM (like the Pirates-a-thon) based on an actor or director, who would you pick and why? Bonus if you can wrap the WLM watch in it as well. - Christopher from Wisconsin

Jeff D

How dare you rant about the "Cold Spring" pronunciation while butchering "New Haven"? :-P

Dominic Kovell

I might've misheard him. If that's the case, he must be blown away. Those are some fine films!

Blake Ferronetti

Since the end is approaching, what movie apocalyptic future would you prefer to live in and why? - Blake from MA

Joe Barrett

What happened to music scores? Are we done with the likes of John Williams, Jerry Goldsmith and James Horner? Even Allen Silvestri has kind of gone down hill. It feels like most music today is "play the same note over and over." Joe in Bel Air, Maryland.

Laurie

Do you know what happened to the Sex Cauldron?

Matthew Sheppard

Is there a movie that you want to do on We Love Movies that any of the others have said no to? Is it okay to dislike a movie?

Charles Huffman

I know you all are probably excited to get back to recording in the same room again, but has learning how to record remotely with the same quality lead to ideas on what you will record in the future? For example, maybe more On Screens or smaller shows (Gleep Glossory type) since you don't have to be in person any more? Charles from Hardy, VA

Charles Huffman

I would add the WHM side to this as well. Besides what has been stated will not be done (i.e. The Room) what movie, good or bad, has been shot down by the others?

RAFAEL SARMENTO

Hey gang! What are the chances for you guys to consider doing a new segment of WHM with films / series on streaming? Netflix, Amazon, etc original content I mean. There are so many “jewels” that could benefit from your contribution 😂 All the best, be safe!

Patrick Hothersall

My name is Patrick, and I'm from Chicago and (I give you guys respect for seeking out Pequoids for deep dish.) In an old old old Side order of Sleaze episode you asked for some WHM slash fiction. Is that request still open?

Eric McDaniel

Will you be going back to movie theaters soon after they reopen? Is Tenet a "must-see-despite-chance-of-death" film?

Sonya Ballantyne

Hi, this is Sonya from Winnipeg. Long time patron, first time question asker. Now that Picard has settled, do you have plans to go back to rewatch?

Alan

Hi WHM/WLM Fellas. You've mentioned this subject in several episodes so I ask: If you were offered a chance to write a sequel for any franchise you choose, what would you choose and what would be the gist of (the 30 second hard sell for the studio heads) the story? Thanks for staying consistent and hilarious. Alan from Chicago.

Erik N.

Andrew mentioned recently on the show that he re-watched Gangs of New York and found it to be a lot better than he remembered - whether during quarantine or not, are there any other movies that you felt totally different about (in a positive or negative way) after rewatching? -Erik from NH

Andrew Donlon

So which is it, Andrew with a bad ponytail taking out bad guys for revenge, coma cat in tow. Steve's forehead and top of his glasses poking out of the chin gap in the Batman 89 suit or Erik with a man bun waving a broadsword in a mystical land or Chris in a black and white polish drama about a brother dragging his dead brothers tractor over a mountain. If the We Hate Movies guys had a Last Action Movie Magic Ticket, which film would you guys like to be sucked into?

GrizzlyGrizzlyGrizzly

Has there ever been a movie your were horrified that you liked at one time? Not just embarrassed, but down right mortified. God help me, I actually cried when I saw American Beauty in the theater. Now I get douche chills thinking that I may have ever enjoyed that movie, considering how awful and mawkish it is, and how it tries to normalize stalking and pedophilia (and then there's the whole Kevin Spacey thing...). I feel depressed now, just asking this question. Cody - Newport, OR.

Elmer

With everything going on this year feeling like a game of Dystopic Sci-Fi and Apocalypse mad libs, if it were made into a black comedy either down the line, or 30yrs ago, who would be the perfect story teller for it? --Elmer from Spooner Wisconsin

Felipe Sobreiro

Favorite Joel Schumacher movie? - Felipe from Brasilia, Brazil

Micah

Mr Boop?

Beatrix

This just in! Michael Keaton is returning as Batman in an upcoming solo film of The Flash! This was reported by a Batman news site called Batman-on-film. Google it! Thoughts on MK returning as Batman??

Beatrix

RIP Joel Schumacher!

Tyler Robinson

Hello WHM, this is Tyler from Seattle! Coming off Father's Day weekend, I wanted to get your takes on one of the most insane tracks of celebrity stepfathers imaginable which belongs to actress Riley Keough. Anyone else you can think of having a more unhinged group of men (MJ and Nic Cage in particular) partly responsible for their upbringing?

Nichole Goble

What is the the most regretful DEE-VEE-DEE purchase you’ve ever made? Nichole Washington, Dee-Cee.

Lil' Peepers' crime boner loves a jingly pocket!

Rip Joel Schumacher, firstly. Bat nipples at half mast. If You had to pick an on screen father that, if they were your real father, best represents the type of person you grew up to be, who would it be? -Tom from Buffalo

Lisa Ryan

What movie did you make your parents go back to the video/dvd store & rent & re-rent multiple times as kids?Like the one that you got the most times. Lisa Ryan Yorba Linda CA

Casey Lincoln

There was an episode where they chatted about how problematic Breakfast at Tiffany's is with Mickey Rooney's Asian face, and Eric jokingly said "WHM Classics?" I'd love to hear a couple episodes that aren't just about old movies because they're filled with slurs (I'm looking at you Sidekicks), but it might be fun to go back further every once in a blue moon!

Casey Lincoln

What's the difference between a mullet, a power mullet, and a passion mullet? Casey, Davenport, IA

M Ahern-Hailu

Andrew Rauf

Will we ever get a WLM on Robocop (1987)? You GOTTA do Robocop 1 if you're gonna do Robocop 3 in Detroit (got 2 tickets to that BTW :D) -Andy, Detroit MI

Dan Hillen

As avid drinkers, was curious if you guys would give us some insight into what your drinking during episodes. I hear that can "CRACK" and I wanna know WHAT ARE YOUUUUU DRINKING?

Sir Digby

Have you ever randomly ran into a fan of the podcast and how awkward was it? -Cameron from Raleigh, NC

Laurie

What are your thoughts in the work of Matt Groening? Early Simpsons, Peak Simpsons, Zombie Simpsons, Simpsons Movie, Futurama and Disenchanted? Also, if you pick my question you have to also tell me if you know what happened to the sex cauldron!

Stuart McIntosh

What is the most embarrassed you've been in a movie theater? Growing up I saw all the great films of the 80's and 90's at the cinema, and some bad ones thanks to my dad. We saw the bond film "License to Kill" at the cinema, and my dad, a perpetrator of "talking to you during movies, especially to make a quip about what just happened" excelled himself - When Dalton puts the truck on one set of wheels to dodge the oncoming missile that then hits the truck behind, my dad loudly professed "NICE SHOOTING" which caused the whole cinema to laugh at him (not with) and 13 year old me to slink down in my seat and vow never to go to the cinema with him again - Stuart, Livingston, Scotland

Adam Dietz

Have you ever lost respect for someone you admired after finding out what their favorite movie was? I had a teacher that I thought very highly off then I found out they loved "Rat Race" and things changed a bit.

Glenn

Will you ever do Bram Stoker's Dracula? Keanu Reeves trying? To do and English accent? Anthony Hopkins chopping vampires... Sounds like a winner to me! Patreon possibly?

Which “American Gladiators” physical game would you prefer to play and why? -Paul near San Francisco

profondo robbo

If you could only watch one director's filmography for the rest of your life, who would you pick and why? - Robert from Australia

Reddit_Is_Harold_Lauder

Can we get animated features on Animation Damnation someday? I need to know your thoughts on stuff like Akira and Cars 2. - Jim from NY

James Uhler

I once had a man wake up during the middle of a movie and, from three rows away, loudly ask me 'what time is it', after he'd made several loud bodily noises (farts, groans, ect), to which I sternly replied, 'no, we're not doing this'. What are some funny stories you've had with a complete stranger while a movie was playing in the theater?

Will See

"Douche Chill" is from 'Arrested Development' it means being embarrassed because someone else is doing something embarrassing or douchey.... at least thats where I learned it.
