Have you ever turned down sex for a movie? For context: I was 19 and hanging out with a guy I had had on again off again feelings for. We watched the Scorpion King at his place (cos I clearly had amazing taste) and I got talking about raiders of the lost ark somehow. He said he had only seen the FOURTH Indiana Jones, so I leap into action and put on raiders. The night was drawing in and he starts to make his moves. Hand in the waist, snuggling on the couch etc. I bat him away and say "pay attention!" blue ballsing him for the entire run time. We later slept in separate rooms in his place and to this day I have no regrets - no lanky 19 year old boy can match to Peak Harrison Ford. Not a question, but a Terry Ford story. Way back in the early days of the internet, my friend and I were on a pro wrestling chatroom and someone mentioned a wrestler named Terry Ford. We had never heard of him, nor could we find any information about him. We were big wrestling fans so we found this surprising. It wasn't until weeks later that we discovered the chatroom had been censoring the word "fuck" and converting it to "ford." Putting two and two together, we realized that "Terry Ford" was an edited version of "Terry Fuck" which was a misspelling of "Terry Funk." Naturally this became a major inside joke. Terry Funk was now Terry Ford. Fast forward 20 years and I'm listening to your Indiana Jones episode and having flashbacks to my childhood. Thanks for reviving such ridiculous memories. I still don't why "ford" was chosen as the replacement for "fuck," and it's probably better off that way. Quite frankly, who gives a ford?
