On this month's very special edition of the Gleep Glossary, the gang is chatting about one of the all-time greats, everyone's favorite Gungan—Jar Jar Binks! How many jobs has Jar Jar washed out of? How much of Phantom Menace's problem is Jar Jar's fault? And was Jar Jar really based on Goofy? PLUS: Wow, George Lucas really started  sleeping on some of these character bios! WHM is donating 100% of our 2020 merch income to causes  fighting for racial justice. For more information on how you can pitch  in, head over to our website.

Gleep Glossary: A Star Wars Story is a show where the guys try to honor the history and legacy of SW characters, most of whom we've been told don't matter anymore!

Thank you for continuing to support this weird, wild adventure we're on! You make this all possible!

Original cover art by friend of the show, the incredibly talented Felipe Sobreiro.

This made me realize Jar Jar is kind of the Prezblewski of the Star Wars universe

Wait...so Rep. Binks was a Dooku asset?

Boss Nass is my personal favorite Gungan.

A fair treatment of JarJar! Thanks.

Drunk History is one of my favorite shows. You guys should be on it.

This may be my favorite Gleep Glossary, then again I love the weird terrible trash of star wars than the main stuff these days.

I actually LOVE the “Jar Jar Binks is a Sith Lord/Darth Plaugeis” theory. Mind you, I also think it’s complete bullshit. Lol.

Cody Downs

Just announced today: Comedy Central just cancelled it after 7 seasons. 😥

Man that clip makes it so obvious these movies were terrible from shop to sodom. (my new expression, which is a bad expression) I love the obvious intellectual disdain for everything democratic so apparent in McDiarmid's performance. You can insert imaginary "ughs" and even a "yada yada". What I also noticed is that Best is doing his damnedest to sound sincere, which is ... creepy? Definitely he's been Mind Punk'd.

My favorite part of Jar Jar Binks is his dad, George R. Binks. Now THERE was a man, an able seaman and hero!

I'm shocked to my bones to hear anyone else acknowledge Geggy Tah. Fun trivia: Geggy Tah was released on David Byrne's music label, Luaka Bop.
