Do you think Tom Hanks is actually a "good" actor? I feel like you were dancing around this in the Turner & Hooch episode (and the past Gump episode). I maintain that he is a not a good actor, who plays Tom Hanks in every movie and whose emotional range is based only on the volume of his voice. -Marc from SF

Jeremy Pawlak

Regan Wood

Worst film that you can’t help but find yourself going back to, time and time again and the reason for that choice? Cheers,

I enjoyed the Jackassmentary. What other non-fiction/documentary movies would you like to do a commentary on? I think the show has been building to an American Moviementary for years.

Michael

You guys were pop culture obsessed nutters like me growing up so my question to you all is this: which TV or movie character did you emulate as a kid because you thought they were just the coolest and had life completely figured out? The more embarrassing or obscure, the better! For me personally, it was Parker Lewis from the short-lived Ferris Bueller-ripoff 'Parker Lewis Can't Lose'. This character just checked all the right boxes for my young, impressionable mind and I thought junior high would be a breeze if I simply pretended to be as cool and carefree as celebrated thespian Corin Nemec in this awful Ferris Bueller ripoff! And so my entire wardrobe consisted of those loud 80s button-downs he constantly wore with the very top button buttoned and always tried to get my friends to synchronize their watches with me (to no avail as they were oddly reluctant to satiate my delusions). I was an awkward, insecure dork LARPing as the coolest kid in school and, needless-to-say, that stark contradiction had the opposite effect, making me come off as even more unsure of myself than ever. Anyways, your turn, boys: when you were searching for an already-established identity to guide you through the perilous fog of prepubescence, which pop culture avatar did you turn to and model your life after? - Mike C in Clifton, New Jersey

Isaac Coleman

Yo hot tip: "Van Helsing" (previous episode) has a pretty rad commentary track featuring the actors who played Drac, Frank and the Wolfster, mostly making fun of co-star David Wenham.

Matthew Harney

Have you guys ever walked into a theater and caught a couple having sex? I walked right by a couple going hard before Insidious 3 and panicked and acted like I didn't see it. I think they even switched positions a few times but I just sat with my blood running cold until more people walked in and saved me, then heard them giggling the whole time. I waited until it was way over after the credits and finally walked out and came face to face with them and all their coital joy had gone as they saw my face, knowing I was the one, the one who KNEW. Any experiences where you came (no pun intended) face to face with theater fornicators after the movie finished (pun intended), Thanks! - Matt from SC

Brent Cowan

Marc Nickel

@Michael Nuccio - isn't that a classic case of the exception that proves the rule though?

David Allen

I seem to remember his spouse was in Germany (for work or school) so he was living there for a while. I imagine these days he could have called in remotely, but that was likely tricky from a technology standpoint back a few years ago.

What movies or genres demand specific food and beverage? I can't rewatch Reservoir Dogs without some Taco Bell because of the first time I saw it, and horror isn't as good for me without an ice cold soda for some reason. - Jonathan from Raleigh

You guys should play a game me and my mates play. Basically all you do is pick 2 actors and find the shortest possible link between them in film. For example Robert De Niro and Harrison Ford. Ford was in the fugitive with Tommy lee Jones, Jones was in AD Astra with Brad Pitt, Pitt was in Oceans 13 with Al Pacino and finally Al Pacino and Robert de Niro were in heat together. So my actors link would be 3, then you would have to try and beat that by getting the link 2 actors or less. It’s a fun game that we play all the time. There’s some really tough ones out there were you get to about 7 actors and it’s still not linking up, really gets your brain working over time haha. enjoy the show lots lads keep up the great work. - Mac from Liverpool.
