You often refer to some movies as ‘Hangover Movies’. A good hangover movie for me is usually a comedy or action movie I’ve seen at least 10 times. I’d like to ask if you have any ‘Worst Hangover Movies’? Mine is probably an unfortunately timed viewing of Jonathan Glazers ‘Under the Skin’. Jeez. Tom from Liverpool

Jordan Gottke

“Sack Lunch.” I mean, don’t you want to know how they got in there?

Laurie

Do not watch this movie when you are a new parent. I'm traumatised by the scene with the abandoned 18 month year old. The same age as my son. Seriously traumatic.

Laurie

Which director do you think is criminally underrated/underexposed, and if you were King of the Movies for a day, would make sure everyone knew about.

Mike Miller

For me it was The Boogeyman from The Real Ghostbusters

Kit Bryan-Smith

With Pierce Brosnan’s “divorced-man energy” in Live Wire, and your humorous and accurate description of Jordan Petersen as “the internet’s most divorced man”, you stoked an interest in “the divorced man”. I recently watched Taken and thought Liam Neesen’s lead might be cinema’s most divorced man. So my question is, who is your favourite divorced man from the silver screen? - Kit in Oswestry, Shropshire, UK

Sean

The four of you are stranded on an island. You have beer, weed - but no movies. Which movie do you act out and who plays which character? Sean in Portland, Oregon

Alan Tuszynski

I watched Skinamarink at small town theater and I was the only person in the room. Don't think I could label it good or bad, but it definitely was an experience I won't forget. I am curious to hear how you guys took in the film and how you would recommend someone to watch the movie. Watching it solo in a big ass room was definitely unique, but I wonder if it should be seen in a room full of people or in a windowless/doorless room at home. What do you guys think is THE way to Skinamarink? Alan in DIckson City, PA

What sound effect from a movie most makes you cringe/shudder? The sound of the sledgehammer hit in the original TCM gets me every time.

Laurie

I'm currently educating myself on film by going through the "1,001 movies to watch before you die" list. I'm about a quarter way through. What are your thoughts on self-education on film? Do you rate these kind of lists/resources? Why/Why not? Thanks! Laurie from Axedale, Australia (but in NYC now)

Hey y'all, What are your thoughts on Neil Breen? Is he a failed artist like Ed Wood or a comedic genius to rival Andy Kaufman? Does his oeuvre fit into auteur theory? I've seen two of his films and some of his discussions on filmmaking and still can't figure him out. Thanks a bunch, Patrick from Austin, Tx

Jeffrey Giorgi

Listening to your Halloween ends episode, couple things you guys missed. The scene when Corey talks to Laurie in the vacant house, that's all in Corey's head. Laurie isn't actually there. Also, there's a running them that Corey never gets to enjoy chocolate milk. It's the drink he's seen preparing in the beginning... The yoo-hoo etc. Lots of details in this movie. A flawed film for sure, especially given the ending. But I think there's a lot there worth exploring.

Paul
