When I saw avatar the way of water and IMAX 3-D someone bought a baby into the theater and it was crying for about 30 minutes out of the entire film where people were getting rowdy and combative with each other , have you guys ever experienced a baby gone wrong situation in your movie going experiences?? Thanks Mike from for Rockaway.

Watching Wrath of Khan, I realized Shatner could have been a critically acclaimed actor if his ego didn't keep better writers and directors at bay. Who else do you think could have been a more celebrated actor if they didn't get in their own way? Mike from Raleigh, NC

Terence Wiggins

I know you boys grew up playing videogames (and still play today), so I'm wondering what was the worst movie licensed game you've ever played?

Z

What's the best looking bad movie you've ever seen, e.g, cinematography, set design, etc? (My pick is The Blue Lagoon) ~ Zach, Manitoba, Canada

Sean

One of my favorite episodes was the Mighty Ducks episode. For two reasons: great fucking movie and you four were in-person for the first time since the pandemic and you could truly hear the enjoyment. I'm wondering, in all seriousness, how the pandemic felt for you all as New York became an epicenter for a while. How do you feel your life has changed? Sean from Portland, Oregon

Jordan

Have you guys considered asking Griffin Newman to join you for an On-Screen Live episode? Every time I listen to an OSL, I can't help but think of Blank Check's Box Office Game segment and wonder if he ever listens in for the numbers.

Is this mediocre movie era we are living in going to get worse or better? Brent from Indiana

I'm a huge fan guys, but a recent patreon. Paid of them student loans and I could afford to subscribe lol. My first episode was the Bee Movie one you guys did. I have been hooked ever sense. My question: I had a tradition growing up that, on my birthday, or if I got straight As on a report card, my dad would take me to see a movie. My dad traveled a lot and we didn't get to spend much time together until the end of highschool. I saw the movies Thunderbirds, Home on the range, the first Tobey Maguire Spiderman, and many more with my dad. Did any of you guys have any family traditions around movies? If not do you have 1 or 2 memories that stick out from childhood about going to the movies? Thanks for being awesome guys. Heath Davis from Gainesville Florida

Samuel McGuire

I grew up with cheap parents, who eschewed Blockbuster and other local VHS rental stores. This meant that my exposure to cinema was limited the local public library's tape collection. This is how I ended up repeatedly watching random movies throughout my childhood, like "Anatomy of a Murder", "A Boy and His Dog", "Bird on a Wire" and "Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band" (The Bee Gees movie). Any random movies end up in your head-canon due to circumstance? Thanks for the laughs that got me through a tough year XO - Sam in Raleigh

Joe Barrett

Hi, Joe from Baltimore. Are you guys big St. Paddy's drinkers? Were you? Any crazy stories? Thanks for the funny.

Joe Wright

Hi guys, For better or worse, it's the height of movie awards season. Are there any awards you care about? Is there anything that could be done to improve the whole awards process? Or was George C. Scott right about the whole enterprise? --Joe in Hackensack

Kevin Lynch

After recording another great episode of We Hate Movies, the four of you go to the Mos Eisley Cantina to unwind when, Uh Oh, a huge 80s movie bar fight breaks out. Who’s fighting who? Who’s getting their arm cut off by a drunk former Jedi? Who’s throwing that werewolf guy into the Space Schlitz neon? Who’s standing triumphantly on the space pool table wielding a broken space cue stick? Remember it’s street rules, Star Wars street rules, and that means there are NO STAR WARS RULES! Kevin from the Cape

Colby Dow

If you could have one musical artist or band take a shot at scoring a movie, which one would you want to give it a go? Colby from Alabama

Julia Petro

A while back you all accepted submissions from listeners on what movies to review next. Any plans to do that again? Julia from Charlottesville, VA

A lot of boomer era tv shows got turned into movies in the 90s/00s (Leave it to Beaver, Beverly Hillbillies, Dukes of Hazard, etc). But the younger Gen X and Millenial shows all seem to get tv reboots instead (Fuller House, Night Court, Saved By the Bell, etc). Is there any show from your youth you want to see made into a bad movie the way boomers got to see live action Rocky & Bullwinkle, Munsters, and Mister Magoo? Kevin from Seattle

Logan Mann

Hi guys! Is there any movie that all 4 of you share wildly different opinions on? Logan from Utah

Dan Craftwerk

Hi, First time long time. If you could play catch with any movie Dad, who would it be? Dan from Germany.

Alan Tuszynski

With Dave Bautista's stellar performance in Knock at the Cabin, in my book, he has taken the spot as the most talented wrestler-turned-actor. Which pro graps star do you guys think has turned in the singular best performance in a film? Alan in Dalton, PA

Moose

FMK: Rocky, Tum Tum, Colt? Thanks, Moose in Atlanta

Wesley Hall

They do it once a year! Typically every March now

TJ Guiney

March is spring break season, so I was curious: what’s your favorite debauched party/vacation movie? TJ from Minneapolis

Laurie

To be fair, Nick Cage IS critically acclaimed. He has an oscar and does some fascinating things with the art of acting.

J. Whiteneck, Esq

They do Listener Request Month every March. Submissions are in January.

Glenn

Are any of your live shows edited down? Meaning possibility of an Uncut version for patrons.

Paul

Which Star Trek character do you relate with the most and why? -Paul Sevilla SF Bay Area

Kyle Stephens

So, we see that Marvel has been a bit tortured and uninspired lately (kinda whack). Do you think the X-Men could save Marvel? If so, what standalone X-Men character (not Wolverine) should get a movie first if they built up to a team up movie a la Avengers? -Kyle from Houston

Nice Manuevers

Hey y'all, a bit of context for this question, so here goes: I was born in Asia and grew up in several countries around South & Southeast Asia. As such, a large number of popular Western films were (a) never released in theatres or on video, or (b) heavily censored prior to an extremely delayed release on VHS due to government restrictions. So, growing up the only way I got to watch a number of popular films (e.g., a very abbreviated list: all James Bond films, The Deer Hunter, The Fifth Element, American Pie, etc.) was through a network of expat families that collected and traded bootleg VHS tapes. So, my question is: During your childhood, were there any movies you HAD to get via bootleg in order to watch (as opposed to simply choosing to bootleg)? - Adi from LA

I just asked ChatbotAI to "make up a rap about the podcast We Hate Movies", and it did this. So I guess my question is... where do we go from here? Like as a culture? -Evan from Oregon Verse 1: Listen up all you folks, we're talkin' 'bout We Hate Movies It's a podcast you need, not a classic that needs no intro Hosted by Andrew, Stuart, and Eric Adventures they have, that are extravagant and quite scenic Chorus: We Hate Movies We line up bad flicks 3 hours at a time, and then we hit repeat We Hate Movies We'll make fun all day Come join the party, just don't get in our way Verse 2: Talk about movies that ranged from good to bad Sometimes so awful, it'll make you angry and mad Try not to laugh, but sure you will Living on the edge, it's how they get their thrill Chorus: We Hate Movies We line up bad flicks 3 hours at a time, and then we hit repeat We Hate Movies We'll make fun all day Come join the party, just don't get in our way Verse 3: From old to new, they dish it all B-movies, blockbusters, these guys never pause Mocking cheesy lines and silly stories That's just the way they like to end their glories Chorus: We Hate Movies We line up bad flicks 3 hours at a time, and then we hit repeat We Hate Movies We'll make fun all day Come join the party, just don't get in our way

Tim Batson

Each of you has to create a 5 episode WHM Primer (main feed only) for new listeners. What are your picks and why?

Bridget K

Thinking about your Knock at the Cabin chat, and the way adaptations can be really wonderful or really awful....are there books that you think should never be adapted to film? Bridget from Boston

imipolexGforce

My hypothesis: because the super Mario movie was the first video game adaptation to live action film, humanity is cursed and will never get an actual quality adaptation of a video game even until the heat death of the universe. Please give your opinions. Nathanael from Seattle

Joshua Pollock

When your sick at home, what’s your go to movie? I have one I have watched one since I was a kid, 38 years old and home sick this week and popped it on. Labyrinth.

PicLockRyan

Revisited the legendary "Kornkast" recently and got a kick out of it. You guys have mentioned a huge variety of musical artists offhand over the years including some of my favorites (Wilco, Patti Smith, & Prince have all been referenced at some point if memory serves). Curious, what are the gang's desert island records or artists? Ryan from Nashville

Aaron
