I remember seeing this as a kid a few times and loving it. Its how Michael Caine met his wife.

WarOfTheBees

I have been looking forward to this one solely because of how out of left field a LRM pick this was.

Felipe Sobreiro

No, they were already married (that's why she was cast)

Matthew Lloyd

Im getting mixed up then, i swear there was an interview where Caine said he fancied her, got her cast just so he could talk to her. Must be getting muddled up, sorry

Glenn

Maybe next year

Felipe Sobreiro

Don't worry, I only know because I read it on wikipedia the other day!

Happy Panda One

Fantastic pick, I love this film. 👍🏻

Smaug

This is great, my dad recorded this movie from Cinemax so we had it on VHS as a kid and we watched it a lot

Lishtener Requesht Month will have you all eating cold Burger King shoon enough

Alexander Farr

There's a special quality to the WLM discussions that is greatly appreciated.

The numerous mentions of brown face did not make sense to me. We’re neither supposed to think the white actors are actually dark-skinned characters, nor are we supposed to laugh along at some caricature or stereotype.

Joe Wakefield

Also the title of a great billy woods song

You guys could have been talking about Arnold’s Total Recall, but it’s the [bad] luck of the draw.

Tim O'

If you listen to the Blank Check podcast, you can hear Andrew and Steve guest star on that show's episode on Total Recall 🙂

Rod

Chris referencing Alex Winters' Freaked was the highlight for me

Smaug

It did have trailers on it, but only for what was on Cinemax

Parker

See I greatly prefer LRM to lead to picks like TMWWBK here, which almost certainly would never have become an ep otherwise. I feel like Total Recall could be chosen by the gang as a regular WLM at any time(in addition to Andrew & Steve's great Blank Check guest-ep on it) :)

Parker

I always try to send in LRM picks that fit the bill but would likely never have been an episode otherwise. Am over the moon that it actually got picked and became a great episode.

Parker

Same! A beloved '90s dadfernoon-tape classic for me.
