On this month’s superhero-sized W❤️M, the guys are boarding the Milano to have an intergalactic conversation about the totally fantastic Guardians of the Galaxy! 

Could just anyone do the Groot performance? Why can’t more of these movies be this well-written? Does any other section of the MCU have this much heart? And how great is the 🐐 Michael Rooker in this movie? PLUS: What was America’s reaction, specifically the show Unsolved Mysteries, to the 1988 kidnapping of Peter Quill?

Reilly, Glenn Close, Benicia Del Toro, Laura Haddock, Sean Gunn, Peter Serafinowicz, Gregg Henry, and the great Michael Rooker as Yondu; directed by James Gunn.

When this first came out I was shocked that a soundtrack would use Hooked on a Feeling so prominently - It was so associated with Reservoir Dogs that I thought it was off the table to be used again. Are there soundtrack songs that are locked to a specific film?

I remember the first GotG as my favorite MCU movie. Also, I think the Milano was named after 80s dream girl Alyssa Milano :)

Here's a question: Are we all just disappointed that Chris Pratt went studly action star when the guy we all fell in love with was chubby and dim. Like, he could hce been an original character. He's never terrible and GG3 he performed well. He's a tough cat to figure. But his bank account swells.

Gunn's Tromeo and Juliet does have the really catchy Hyper Enough from Superchunk in it, which is worth a half star to me on its own, but aside from that I definitely agree.

Knowing Glenn Howerton was very nearly Peter Quill really makes me want to see what that would have been like. Especially since Danny Devito tested for Rocket but they wanted the character to have a younger voice.

For a moment I thought Steve's Italian bookmarks were fumetti photocomics versions of the Guardians, as marvel did that fumetti comic back in the day with Smilin' Stan as himself. Kirby's Funky Flashman was so on point.
