On this edition of Once In A Lifetime, we're chatting about the fun, outrageous domestic thriller, The Walls Are Watching (a.k.a. Foreclosure)! Did Branscombe's character do these renovations or did this new couple fix up the house? What is with the broken way time passes in this movie? How totally useless is this cop character? And what was with that kinda-racist boss character? PLUS: Eric & Chris go off on the disastrous documentary, My Date with Drew!

The Walls Are Watching stars Branscombe Richmond, Lana McKissack, Brandon Ford Green, Anthony Starke, Michael Perl, and Barry Pearl as the Auctioneer; directed by Brian Herzlinger.

Branscombe Richmond coming in with one of the bravest performances I’ve ever seen

Nathan Lemire

Anybody hear Tim Burton's next film will be Attack of the 50 ft Woman...? A giant woman!

Ryan Snyder

Branscombe Richmond is also in Hard to Kill as Quentero. He gets the infamous kill at the street side Chinese take out place. Then gets the huge mask put on his head after a great Seagal neck break.

Joel Myers

Literally the moment they said “evil Jim Rash” I knew they were talking about J.P. Mannoux, who literally did play the evil version of The Dean on community as well as a bunch of random roles on h the Disney Channel back in the day.

Matt Reid

A few months ago I started watching Renegade as a High Watch, it is dumb fun. Only through 1 season or so, lot of great B actor guest stars. Gets a little repetitive, so only watch here and there, but the laughs are there. Def recommend in small doses, it is on Amazon.

It's actually a FOUR-movie genre: Hider In The House, this, that Stalked By My Doctor sequel, and this 1974 TV movie that I keep meaning to enter into Listener Request Month but never manage to remember it: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bad_Ronald

Busiris

Definitely one of the all-timer movies done for Once in a Lifetime. I have nothing but respect for the folks that understand that they're making a derivative domestic thriller for TV and decide to just go wild and be completely ridiculous.

David Allen

Hider in the house Dolin’ out the harm Ready with a foot or fist Or open palm 🎵

Kevin Lynch

He gets his ass handed to him on quite a few 80s-90s action movies

Luli

pls PLS do a patreon episode on My Dinner with Eric Roberts

Eren Keskin

Guys, can someone write this comment for me? You see, I’d do it myself, but my hands are soaked in oranges here

Jason

Since Chris bought his home from the Devil, I picture it comes with all sort of amenities that have a Needful Things vibe. Like Chris wanted that in-ground pool to show off for friends and neighbors, but now nobody will believe him about “shrinkage.”

While in her 80s, my little 4'9" Mexican grandmother, would regularly sit down in her favorite bedoilied easy chair and spend the evening watching Renegade and Highlander the Series in their USA heyday. Nana had her jams, RIP. ❤️

TJ Guiney

I cannot believe steve just casually consigned the dead child to hell lmao

Sergio Rozo

When Chris and Eric were talking about my date with Drew, it reminded me of a film made by a Romanian film maker called Be my cat: a film for Anne. The concept is the same, but instead of being a romantic thing is actually a horror movie 🤣🤣 is not like a date with Drew wasn't

Lance Flexington

We're forgetting the unsung hero of canned vegetables: water chestnuts

Z

The Shannen Doherty film Chris mentioned is 1992's Obsessed, where she ends up boning William Devane and eventually stalks him. Would highly recommend.

April

I really want to see this movie but it's unavailable in Canada. Please, someone send help.

Z

Also from Canada – only way I could find it was through good ol'fashioned torrenting. It isn't hard to find on those kinds of sites, though.

April

I found a torrent but its not seeding :( ill look again

Z

If you go through enough of them, you'll come across one with enough seeds. Good luck!

My Date with Drew's Crawlspace. Mother May I Sleep with Danger starring Tori Spelling and Baby Monitor: Sound of Fear with Josie Bissette and Jason Beghe have always sounded intriguing wrt Lifetime adjacent TV movies.
