I've been trying to post this for days, I've been so busy x_x Which one's your favorite??

Little bit of an update on my business:

I'm posting this information here first, since this is more of a private forum for me :-)

When I started drawing the monthly illustrations for Patreon, I also subconsciously decided I could also use all this new art for new tees as well.

The thing I'm really struggling with in making new designs is subsequently stocking them. Me, by myself, in my little stock room, which houses over two thousand pieces of clothing, is a hard thing for one person to manage...

Therefore, sometime soon I plan to make a "Made to order" section in my shop. Then those orders will just ship to the customer straight from my supplier and not go through me at all. I think it'll take a huge weight off my shoulders in being able to focus on other things.

From the beginning starting Ocean In Space, Omocat's brand was just on the rise and I wanted to be in that caliber... But now, Omocat is actually a team of people running the business. I know having a team is also something that could definitely help my own business grow, but I live with chronic health issues and being a boss/leader for others is just not something I think I can be. That took me a bit of time to realize, but it's something I've been recently coming to terms with.

If I did have a team, I'd have people helping me on my storefront, packing my orders, and taking care of photoshoots and photo editing. Right now I do all of that by myself, on top of actually making the art, designing the pieces, and merchandising and hauling everything to conventions and shows. And bookkeeping... God the bookkeeping. x_x

So my goal in the future is to depend on this "Made to Order" section a little more so I can focus on coming out with more designs more frequently. :3 I'll never be an Omocat - even though I think my work definitely has the potential to be. But I will continue to work and succeed the best way I'm able.
