Tokyo Mew Mew painting... Playing with masking fluid! (Patreon)

It's been a little while since I picked up this painting again (from my art retreat I was documenting on Twitter in June), but I've just moved into the new space and I'm ready to paint again!

Today, I tried out some masking fluid to make the paint splatters shiny. It's not perfect, but it's an interesting tool!!

It's a masking pen, so it comes out of the pen like a glue, and dries. You paint over these spots, rub them away with a special tool and then you have white areas left over!

It would work really well if you want to make a pattern or shiny things everywhere! I'm going to try that next time :-D
