Deco Princess painting (Progress photos pt.1) (Patreon)

New month, new sneak peeks❤️

Here's a painting I've been slowly chipping away at. I feel a lot of my work looks the same lately (big shiny girl face, lots of accessories)... But hey whatever!! It's what I like!! :^)

It's done entirely in acrylic guoache on Fluid brand hot press watercolour paper.

She isn't done yet but, I'm getting there! Still have to do the BG, outline and a couple other things!

• Step1: First sketch is done on Cintiq, and traced on a lightbox with coloured led (in this case red).
• Step2: Fill in skin
• Step3: Fill in reds.
• Step4: Fill in yellows, greens & blues (I decide what colour will be what as I go)
• Step5: Fill in purple (although I'm going to come back later and add some highlights, hopefully)
• Step6: Keep layering the colours
• Step7: (The first image) Eyes are done last, with glasses (the only deep red colour) done very-very last. I'm going to eventually outline her in red hopefully!
