April 2022 Rewards - Howl's Moving Castle (Patreon)

Hey everyone, happy April~!

April's my birthday month soooooo it's my favorite lol. The 24th is the day to be exact! Guess how old I'm turning...!! Or maybe, don't... 😭

This month's set for April is Howl's Moving Castle!:

Another Ghibli series! I'm going to be honest, I have a hard time drawing these ones (lol). They don't turn out too bad, but I don't feel super connected with them so they don't feel as natural to me to create. I wasn't sure what to do, and I didn't want to draw a pretty field or a million flowers, so...... hyper detailed frame time!! Lol.

The illustration was done using mainly Acryla gouache. I started in pencil, went to paint, and then did inking last in Pentel brush pen.
I really wanted to try out my watercolours for this one (I haven't had a chance yet since I ot them last Black Friday!! 😭), but I was kind of nervous so I just went with something I knew (gouache). Hopefully soon I'll get to try them... maybe next month!

I sort of rushed the stickers, andddd I don't like them. I apologize for that😅😄😄 I'm super happy with how the tape came out though!!
