Hey folks!Part-II of the SCP Momo set is finally here. The total page count: 460 pages lol!So yeah! Glad it's done, but that's 460 pages in like 1 month and a half, so I hope you'll allow me a bit of a short break before I tackle the next set (the Jill set). As I delivered the equivalent of 2.5X the size of what I can reasonably produce in a month. As I said, going forward I will no longer follow a hard, once-full set-a-month schedule. Allow me to do other things like game dev, etc...You can expect Sneek Peak for the Jill set to pop up toward the end of the month. Also, you guys have spoken up about the "early access" issue and what most of you want to resolve it: https://www.patreon.com/TonkatsuCHAN/posts/other-poll-169631847So going forward, I will no longer lock finished stories (or parts) behind a 24-hour early access for Tier 4. I'm only doing this because when there is a very aggressive leaker, it's not fair for Tier III Patreon to be locked out of a set, only to find it leaked elsewhere. However, I will compensate for the loss of the early access to completed stories by increasing and improving "sneak peek" content for Tier IV. Giving you exclusive early access to what I'm working on. Just not finished stories. I just made a post today to make that point, but you can expect more in the future. In a sense you still get early access to my content, just not completed stories that some bad apples can sometime leak online too early.Anyways, here's the good stuff!STORY:LINKIMAGE:LINKPART II ONLY (STORY):LINK

Edit: Part II only was the wrong link (sending you to Images only). This has been fixed. You should have the correct link now.

Okay... First of all, probably your best work to date, second... I'm hoping for a sequel somehow...

At long last, both the binder and the bound have ended up permanently restrained in the end — and it perfectly showcases the dark themes of SCP. Thank you for weaving all of these elements so seamlessly into this story collection. All the extra effort you put into this ending really paid off. This is truly your best story yet.

wickaman

Amazing set, thank you for your hard work, hope to see more SCP in the future

1. How have you been? 2. Thank you for everything Your art is incredible and I'll be supporting you, you're awesome. P.S. But are you going to do another one before the end of the month or next month? I'm just asking out of curiosity, no pressure.

奇 陈

Wait, I just noticed a huge plot hole! Momo is the only successful test subject, which is why she had drones continuously feeding her and could survive being locked in that straitjacket for over 10 years. But what about the previous subjects? They were just naturally preyed upon by the entity, so they never had any drone-feeding life support at all. Then how could they survive being completely immobilized in those leather straitjackets for over a decade while still receiving sustained nutritional intake?

Tonk

The straitjacket jump back in the past after it consumes the prey, and everyone forgets about the person. It is the first successful Omega event that was observed by the foundation but not the first one. Anso the time before Omega triggers is not 10 years by default, it can be just a few weeks or months. It happens when the prey desires to be consummed on a subsconsious level. In Momo's case, that took 10 years. So in short, It has been consuming, looping back in time over and over and over.

Tonk

Ahhh.... No! Like... please. I just delivered 460 pages... Like... You say you don't want to pressure me, but I barely released this yesterday, and you're already asking for the next one. What is that if not pressure? (Look, sorry, I know you said you asked this out curiosity, but how can you ask me that when I barely released this massive set less than 24 hours ago and now you're asking If the next one is in two weeks.) I know you didn't mean to ask this with any malicious intent, but the question is a bit tone-def, don't you think? Sorry, don't take this post seriously, but I find it exhausting that it's been 24 hours since I released this and already someone is asking for the next one. I've sent completely unreasonable expectations by pushing myself too hard, clearly. And that's my fault. But I'll say again for the last time. I will not tie myself to strict deadlines anymore. So don't ask me to give a deadline? Please?

Aleaouoebiqwuo5

I understand, sorry, take good care of yourself

Tonk

Sorry, my response was unnecessarily heated, but yeah, please be patient going forward. (I barely released this.) Take care.

Thanks for the explanation! The time-loop and the subconscious desire mechanic make a lot of sense. However, looking at it this way, it raises another logistical question about the previous predations. Since the previous consumptions happened outside the Foundation's observation (due to the time reset and memory erasure), they must have occurred in normal, everyday environments. But SCP-482 only exerts psychological control over the host, right? It doesn't physically prevent other people from taking it off. Scenario A (The victim is alone): The intense psychological violation and corruption from the suit would leave them unable to care for themselves (eating/drinking) within a few days. Since the suit only drains energy and provides no nutrition, they would likely die of dehydration or starvation before their subconscious desire to be consumed even triggers the Omega event. Scenario B (The victim is around others): Unless they are locked in a forced experimentation environment like the Foundation, it's hard to imagine that their friends or family wouldn't just physically force the suit off them when they see them suffering mentally. So, without the Foundation's forced isolation, the entity's predation mechanism in the wild feels a bit flimsy (almost like child's play), as it relies on the victim either dying of neglect before the Omega event or bystanders just completely ignoring them. Honestly, given all these hurdles, the success rate of its predation on compatible hosts feels pretty dismal, doesn't it?"

奇 陈

Following up on my previous point: given how restrictive this predation mechanism is, I seriously doubt it could even successfully complete a single hunt in the wild. Consequently, the number of time resets it triggers would be drastically reduced, making it nearly impossible to explain the later scenarios where a massive crowd of victims shows up. This is exactly where I see the core logical flaw in the current lore: despite possessing the time-loop ability, its actual hunting method simply cannot support it preying on such a massive scale.

so cool ! so sad we havent the next part for the dom

Tonk

Was originally planned (I actually have 90% of the assets made for it). But the set was already really large and I think the focus had to stay on Momo. But, not impossible it could come as a side project thing (Bonus content for SCP set). More about that tomorrow.
