A smaller but important patch following the 0.8 release — NPC Overhauls & Bug Fixes 🧰

🧰 What’s New in v0.8.1?

🧍‍♂️ Full NPC Overhauls Now Active
– Updated all NPC appearances across key cities & questlines
– Hand-crafted faces, outfits, and hair with high performance in mind
– Better diversity, realism, and no visual bugs with armor or weapons

🧪 Bug Fixes & Gameplay Improvements
– Fixed potion consumption mechanics (now triggers properly)
– Fixed broken or frozen animation sequences
– Minor UI script tweaks & CTD edge cases resolved

💾 Updating from an Older Save?

🟡 Standard safe-update procedure applies.
If you're updating from a previous version (especially before 0.8.0), please make a clean save in a safe interior (like Riverwood Trader) before updating.

🛠️ If NPCs appear without their gear or are bugged after the update, you can manually reset them:

Press ~ to open the console
Click on the affected NPC
Type resurrect and hit Enter
✅ They’ll respawn with correct default gear

Note: This is not required if you're starting a new save.
