I saw this in theaters. I thought it was very well done, and I was sad that it didn't find more of an audience. I was going to wait to purchase the 4K steelbook (out in August, apparently), but with your upload, I might be forced to rent it before then.

Just got done watching! I wonder if Max reminds Furiosa of the Praetorian Jack. Having Max on the War Rig fighting alongside her probably brought back memories lol. Also, it looks like where she "planted" Dementus is the same spot she used to shower and chill with Jack. Plus it also could symbolize her making the Citadel her home by planting the seed from the green place. That's just a theory...A MEDIAKNIGHT THEORY...Thanks for watching lol

Great point! Also a bit heartbreaking. Apparently Charlize had all of the notes on the character’s past so I’m sure if you go back and watch “Fury Road” there’d be a lot of details to catch and perhaps this is one of them. Her relationship with Max evolved and it became a comradery.

That girl with Furiosa in the beginning when she is taken is the naked bait woman in Fury Road. It sad is they got only a brief time to reconnect before she died.

The child almost looks more like Charlize Theron than Anya Taylor-Joy. This is the absolute perfect role for Chris Hemsworth. Dementus is a far richer chracter than Thor ever was, or will be. And he’s (post-)Australian. The cinematography and sound design (and soundtrack) in this movie is absolutely breathtaking. This installment is the absolute apex of this franchise. The previous movie was spectacular, in a frenetic kinda way, but this one has an unparalleled aesthetic appeal, and it takes its sweet time to tell the tale of each chapter. Unfortunately, Dementus’s pretty speech about abusive leaders also applies to him. Geez. Furiosa is HIGH STRUNG. She’s like a tiny planet-killer waiting to go off. Anya was also perfect casting. She can transmit emotion just with a glance of her eyes. I also think it's interesting how Furiosa's voice seems to transition from Anya's to Charlize's toward the end. I wonder if there was some kind of partial voiceover.
