PIRATES OF THE CARIBBEAN: AT WORLD'S END FULL LENGTH MOVIE REACTION - WATCH ALONG

Comments

Show Town

perfect timing guys! Thanks lol

Kab

I waited for this for what feel's like an eternity, haha! What's your opinion on 4 and 5, guys ? Considering your reactions from 1&2 i am 98% sure you, they'd love to continue watching three

PumpkinHat

I was just thinking about this like an hour ago about when you guys were going to drop this. I will say without getting into any spoilers this is the last of the Pirates 'trilogy' even though the series continues past this one. My head canon is that this is the last movie. The 4th one is in my opinion the worst one, but I think the 5th one is alright. If y'all are looking for more high quality Disney action movies after you finish up these I seriously recommend either National Treasure or Holes. Holes would be less of a commitment since it's just a single movie that tells one complete story and is (in my amateur non-writer's opinion) a phenomenal piece of story telling.

I couldn't Wait for this reaction!!! I knew y'all had already did the first two, and I knew it was coming but I'm super excited to watch y'all's reaction 😌😁

what do i need to do to get the blur gone and the sound on?

For more Geoffrey Rush, and a hilarious superhero homage/parody also starring Ben Stiller, William H. Macy, Janeane Garofalo, Hank Azaria, and others, please do check out 1999's Mystery Men. ""We're not your classic heroes. We're not the favorites. We're the other guys." But first watch The Dark Crystal. ;)

Mister Lou

I remember watching this in theatres with all my homies in high school.. we all laughed and cried together,, with no judgment.

Hi guys! I’m commenting before watching the reaction because I want to comment this since way back but didn’t want to give spoilers, did you notice that every man that Elizabeth has ever kissed died? Jack, Bill, Sao Fang and Norrington. Ok, two of them came back (sort off), and that Bill died killed by his masterpiece sword. Ok, go to see the reaction now. 💜 Oh! another thing, the song that starts this movie is the story of the first brotherhood and Calisto. The King and his men stole the Queen from her bed and bound her in her bones the seas be ours and by the powers where we will we'll roam Yo ho, all hands Hoist the colors high Heave ho, thieves and beggars Never shall we die Now some have died and some are alive and others sail the sea with the keys to the cage and the Devil to pay we lay to Fiddler's Green. Yo ho, all hands Hoist the colors high Heave ho, thieves and beggars Never shall we die (repeat) Yo ho, all together Hoist the colors high Heave ho, thieves and beggars Never shall we die The bell has been raised from it's watery grave Hear it's sepulchral tone? A call to all pay heed the squall and turn yourself toward home Yo ho, all hands Hoist the colors high Heave ho, thieves and beggars Never shall we die Yo ho, haul together Hoist the colors high Heave ho, thieves and beggars Never shall we die Yo ho, haul together Hoist the colors high Heave ho, thieves and beggars Never shall we die.. The King and his men stole the Queen from her bed and bound her in her bones. The seas be ours and by the powers Where we will we'll roam.

The new studio looks great!

I hope this is not an odd question but are y'all married or bff's? 😊 I just love the two of you together.

If you guys want a treat, look up Johnny Depp as Captain Jack Sparrow on the Pirates of the Caribbean ride at Disneyland. He showed up one day and put himself in the ride like an animatronic and would start talking to people as they rode by. It took the guests a minute to figure out it was really him. It's pretty fun.

Finally :D I love this movie, glad you guys enjoyed it aswell, its so well done. Your breakdown at the end is really spot on imo. They let all the actors shine, especially Geoffrey Rush, I mean everyone hypes up Johnny Depp and i agree he was born for that role but, Geoffrey Rush was so amazing as Barbossa aswell I dont think anyone couldve made that character come alife the way he did.

Hans Zimmer composed the opening scene song the little boy begins singing a song & Elizabeth (Kira Knightly) is singing it too as she rows along... that song is “Hoist the Colours”. There is a vocal group that did a cover of this song, I would like for you two to do a reaction to their video, They are “Voiceplay”, It will blow you away! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vO8NEsx9m58

Know I'm late to this one, but it is such a good movie! Loved watching it with you guys! This trilogy has been fantastic to re-watch with you guys. The writing over all three films is so clever and it is very clear that there was thought behind the writing all the way. Some iconic lines as well. This movie especially is just beautifully shot and Verbinski shows of his skill all the way through. All actors shine but Depp, Rush and Nighy are just on another level. They really play the characters all the way and although they are almost absurdly over-the-top characters, all 3 manages to make them extremely believable. All larger than life but all of them work so well together. Are you guys planning on watching the other two as well? They unfortunately don't reach the same quality (I think that is universally acknowledged) but there are highlight moments in them as well. Some recommendations for the future: Casablanca (1942) Edward Scissorhands (1990) Sphere (1998) Moon (2009) Highlander (1986)

I love all three of the Pirates movies that were made up to this point. They're really entertaining, pretty well-written, and so very fun. However, it drives me a little mad how BAD the subtitles to this movie are. I once again forgot to pay attention to the first and second movies to see if the subtitles are this bad for the first two, but there are SO MANY completely nonsensical transcriptions in this. It's like whoever did the subtitles didn't have a copy of the script. They were just playing it by ear and were horrible at translating pirate lingo. Everything from "Nay! Belay that!" being written as "Never lay down," to them writing "brink" instead of "brig" every time, to my favorite nonsense: "Off their winges" (what?) instead of "Half-barrel Hinges" right before Jack pops the brig door off of its hinges. I believe at one point someone is called a "Harridan," which they translate as "Pirate Donna." Seriously, just... show me the people responsible for these subtitles so I can give them all one good slap each. They deserve it. Anyway, looking forward to whatever is next, and to the next Pirates movie, if you're planning on doing the other two at some point. Hope you're both having a great week. ✌️🤓

You should watch Pirates of the Caribbean part 4 and 5
