Hello was wondering if in the future you could let us know what platform you’re viewing these on? Would be extremely helpful in syncing the audio/video. Please and thank you. So excited to watch this one.

Ultrx

Awesome movie! Another good war movie is American Sniper. Highly recommend that one.

Joey Cintron

Yo I remember watching this. This movie was hardcore!

Ryan Liechty

OMG this is honest to god my favorite Mark Wahlberg movie, it’s gripping, intense, adrenaline filled, edge of your seat thrilling, I can’t wait to watch this one with you guys!

Anonymouse

Yes! Good stuff! Here's to hoping Kingdom of Heaven is on top of your queue too!

The Media Knights

Yayyy, we hope you enjoy!! Kingdom of Heaven is definitely gonna be coming your way soon!

The Media Knights

This movie was absolutely incredible - we were breathless throughout the whole thing! Hope you enjoy our reaction!

The Media Knights

Right?! They did not take it easy on the audience at all - it was a hard watch at times, but a fantastic movie!

The Media Knights

Oooh we gotta check out American Sniper, thank you for that recommendation!!

Mariia K 🇺🇦

Guys, you have to watch Prince of Egypt- one of the greatest animated movies )

Dee

Oh god. I want to see your reaction, but I don't feel like crying😆😭

Melissa Creel

Another great based on a true story movie is Black Hawk Down. Excellent movie and when the proole that were actually a part of it had their screening they cried and thanked them for such an accurate portrayal and getting their story out.

Vono

13 hours is another Great War movie it hits pretty hard on the feels just like this

Joey Cintron

You guys should also check out 13 Hours or Act Of Valor. Both, in fact all three are AMAZING war movies.

Hi Artie & Denise.. 🌻 Hope You Both are Doing well. I'm Surprised as this is a Movie, I've NEVER Heard of or Seen .. until Today. Watching it, with Both of You, makes for a Entertaining Experience .. even Though it is Difficult to Watch at Times., it's still ENJOYable. Having it Based on a True Story, makes it more Heartbreaking, as it Draws You into the Conflicts of War, overall a GREAT Movie. Thankyou Both fir this & See You in your Next Viewing ... All the Best, Cheers 🍻

Didn't see it mentioned but I HIGHLY RECOMMEND watching FNG Academy do a "react" to this. Sean and Kurt, who are ex-Green Beret operators (Special Forces, almost on the same level as SEALS), talk about certain scenes. They both did tours in Afghanistan and praise how combat is presented as well as how they portray the soldiers themselves. It's a great watch. Again, HIGHLY RECOMMEND it. FNG Academy Lone Survivor in YouTube search should bring it up for you. They have lots of other war film and show breakdowns, talking about good representation and bad representation. Fun series and the hosts are funny as hell.

Donna Castellano

Highly second this one! I rewatch this one once a year since I saw it in the theatre. And definitely do the Director's Cut /Extended Edition. The added footage really does ADD to the movie. Oh and it's a RIDLEY SCOTT film, so you know the direction and cinematography is gonna be great. Has one of my favorite film soundtracks as well. Hans Zimmer.

The Media Knights

Oh that's actually fantastic, thank you so much! We've been so curious about how this was perceived in the sense of how closely the combat aspect and the actors came to reality! Thank you again, we appreciate you!

The Media Knights

Thank you so much for joining us on this for your fist watch, it honestly made us so happy that you had an entertaining experience with us! It's definitely a really tough watch, but still a great movie! Thank you again for the support, much love to you!

The Media Knights

Ohh yes, we gotta check that one out! Thank you for the recommendation!

The Media Knights

Hahaha that is so understandable, come back to this when you need a good crying session 😂

The Media Knights

Black Hawk Down has been on our list and we definitely gotta get to it very soon! It's always amazing when a movie does justice to a true story - that's how it should be! We'll be sure to keep in mind to do the Extended Edition, especially with Ridley Scott that makes a huge difference! You already had us but with Hans Zimmer scoring it, now we're even more on board! Thank you both for the recommendation, we'll be getting to that soon!

The Media Knights

Adding that to our list then, thank you so much for the recommendation!

Melissa Creel

I will warn you. You better have a new box of tissues handy. It is very powerful and moving. I want to thank you guys for actually reading and responding to everyone's comments. A lot of reactors don't and that's why I only have subscribed to 2 movie reactors and you are one of them. You know what you are talking about with movies and make entertaining and educational comments as well as have great communication with your followers. Not many reactors do that. They just want clicks and comments and don't pay attention to the people that follow them. I really do appreciate you guys. Keep up the great work!!

Donna Castellano

I hope it's very soon! 😁. Also, Eric Bana has a pretty good sized role in BHD too!

Samuel Bruce

Saw this in theaters, completely full, and at the end it was the most quite and somber I've ever seen leaving a theater. Second to that would be American Sniper in theaters, for somberness. Black Hawk Down is a must watch, and a must read as well.

Ryan Towell

I'm a big fan of Peter Berg as a director and actor. This film I watched after reading the book.. The real Marcus is in this film. He's in the beginning at the camp, he's the big guy at the picnic table that knocked over the coffee and told the new kid to clean it up. He had a few other shots he was in as well, He trained the actors for this, he also moved into Peters house for a month when Peter was rewriting and was the consultant on the writing and filming processes. He wanted it to be as accurate as possible to pay tribute to his fallen SEAL brothers. His story is heartbreaking, tragic but flippin incredibly heroic. This guy is an incredible guy.

Eddy Lheat-99

The covenant with Jake Gyllenhaal is a great survivor modern movie

Robert Durant

Hey now that yall have reacted to this movie PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE watch “Patriot’s Day”…it’s another collaboration between Mark Wahlberg and Director Peter Berg. It’s all about the Boston Marathon bombings, the stories behind the victims and the manhunt for the terrorists. A really really great movie.

chase

one of my all time favorites

Strobe|Haüs Creative Imagery

Such a great movie. Another absolute must-watch is the Seal Team television series. An incredible and highly realistic series that really gets it right. They even had/have a former Ranger/Delta Operator on the show and as an advisor. One of my all-time favorite military shows, hands down!

New Patreon member. I enjoyed y'alls reaction to this movie; it is one of my top favorites for historical military movies. Look forward to catching up on past reactions and future ones. BTW, Marcus Luttrell's twin brother Morgan represents my, and his by birthright, home state of Texas in the House of Representatives in DC.
