⚠️IMPORTANT⚠️ Hey guys! So quick heads up when syncing up, we totally messed up the timing with this one. Don't wait for the 3-2-1 to play, as soon as you see the screen and the timer hit play. The movie starts as soon as we cut away from Denise's close up at the beginning when we are discussing food. Thank you for watching and apologies for the inconvenience! ❤️

But there's one thing I don't understand I recommended Miraculous tales of ladybug and cat noir to you in May I think, so why we are in July and you haven't react to it yet?

Because we have a very long list of suggestions plus a very long list of things we want to watch and think that those films are worth talking about. We need to balance the suggestions based on what multiple people want, not just the one person ❤️

The Media Knights

That’s so kind of you! Thank you for watching those with us. We had an incredible time and this did not disappoint ❤️😁

hey dude, as a fellow media knights watcher there’s also a lot of film/shows i’d love for them to react to. but we have to remember that a recommendation is a suggestion, not a demand or a requirement. they have a lot of subscribers to make happy, plus opinions and preferences of their own. please have some patience. if they want to watch something, they will! :)

Yay! I saw this in theaters and loved it. Another recent film I would love for you guys to watch is Megan 2.0. It was a box office disaster, but that’s on Universal for the horrendous marketing. You guys will love it, from the change in genre to the camera work.

Ari and Denise....try not to laugh but I totally forgot this came out and I had a confused look on my face like 🤨 and than I remembered they showed the trailers of the movie and that's when I remembered they made a live action one when you guys uploaded it....overall I've been loving yalls reactions and been a fan ever since last year when you guys reacted to Hacksaw Ridge

Guston Zimasheen

it's not just that, no shade on you guys, but I've noticed for me that Patreon is delayed in showing me alerts in my emails etc...sometimes it takes a day, so I just have to keep checking in to see if any new movies reactions have popped up. It might be because I'm in New Zealand, but I'm not really sure why it's like this tbh? All good.

After watching this movie I feel they did the animated version justice . They made a hell of a movie with thus .

You guys were close, but half-ish correct on the filming location… Key Filming Locations: Belfast: The film's central hub, with production based at Belfast Harbour Studios and Titanic Studios. Causeway Coast: Includes locations like Giant's Causeway, Dunseverick Castle, and Murlough Bay, contributing to the dramatic, rugged landscape. Tollymore Forest Park: This park served as a filming location for scenes like Hiccup's first encounter with Toothless. Iceland: Some on-location filming took place in Iceland to capture landscapes that evoke the mythical island of Berk. Faroe Islands: These remote islands were used for their Nordic character and authentic Viking-era landscapes.

This was a lot of fun and I agree, this is one of the better "animated into live action"-remakes I have seen. They did go the smart route and didn't change too much in the script, in fact there are quite a lot of shot for shot scenes and lines. The only risk with that is that it could end up boring, but I feel they pulled it off quite well. Also completely agree with you, there is a lot of heart here. There already was in the animated original and it translated surprisingly well. I think getting Gerard Butler to reprise his role was smart as well, it was clear he had already considered how to physically act that role out so the step for him wasn't far at all. Overall I feel the casting is good, everybody plays their parts to expected standard and it is easy to get immersed. The effects are excellent. Toothless does really look like Toothless, but still different from the animated version (you know what I mean). The dragons overall are excellently done and even thought there is a lot of CGI (the dragons) there is actually a lot more physcial effects than I expected as well. Very smart and well done. I have to say, it is a genuinely good film. Very impressed they made it work well, hopefully we get a sequel! I am going to recommend something different today that I think you would find very cool and interesting. Since you did Kpop Demon Hunters I have another cool music-based recommendation. There is a huge artist in China with the stage name G.E.M. She has been around for a good while and in terms of size, think the Taylor Swift of China. When she released her album Revelations she did something very cool. Every song has it's own musicvideo and they tell a complete story. When all the MVs had been released they cut them together into one cohesive 60-minute movie. It is incredible, epic and heartbreaking. I guarantee you guys would like it. G.E.M. is the main lead and she also wrote the script. The whole thing is mostly in Chinese, but there are subtitles in English. If you decide to watch it, I guarantee you will be impressed. I would love to get your thoughts on it. Link below: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_zsp380jhAs

I found myself getting a bit annoyed at them going physical gesture for gesture (and sometimes line for line) with the original animation throughout the film. But all in all I ended up really enjoying it more than I thought I would. And I dang near shed a tear (actually I did) when he woke up and saw part of his leg was gone. I didn't even do that in the original animated film. Its that human element that did it for me.

Great reaction. Thanks for this. While you are on the dragon train you guys should definitely check out "Reign of Fire" from 2002 starring Christian "Batman" Bale, Gerard Butler and Matthew McConaughey. Great "disaster" movie with an alternate take on dragons.

Kyutoko

The thing that surprised me the most wasn't how good Toothless looked. Or how accurate the actor playing Hiccup was. It was that they somehow made me care about Snotlout. That parental dismissal, I felt it. And, of course, the man, the myth, the legend, Gerard Butler playing Stoick in live action, cherry on top. I hope they get Drago's voice actor to play him if/when they make the sequel. Djimon Hounsou could definitely pull it off.

Gregory Stapleton

Well, I definitely don't want to ruin it for you. They were just things that I caught when watching. I hope you enjoy it.

I can't see the movie only the reaction ???

Hi 👋 Ari & Denisr I, Finally Did Watch this Live-Action Remake & While I, Thought it was Beautiful, FUN, Enjoyable & a HUGE Nod to the Original Animated Triolgy - I, prefer the Latter & in MY, Opinion ONLY Here ... not every Animated Movie, needs a Live-Action Remake, HOWEVER when it's Done Right in every aspect as this one was - It's well, Worth it & Admired - by even the Most Beloved fans, Myself included.
