“We Are Groot” 😢 that scene always gets me!

KatBranDee

One of my favorite Marvel movies! So happy you're watching it! 😊

KatBranDee

I so hope you plan on watching the other GOTG movies! 🍿💗

Cool fact there’s this game about the guardians made by the same people that’s done spider-man so it’s called MARVELS the guardians of the galaxy. Anyway in the game Peter quill names himself star lord because of this rock band he discovered when he was a kid. And here’s the fun fact that band has actual music that YOU can find right now on YouTube Spotify Apple Music or whatever and honestly if your a fan of 80 Space metal then I promise you won’t be disappointed.

Anne-Charlotte Robinson

I am so exited to watch this with you guys. Some funfact is that one of my cats name is IamGroot alias Grootis, grootman and some other nicknames. So i be back. Oops wrong movie. 🍿

Jesse Steele

I’m not a fan of marvel however guardians of the galaxy is one of my favourite series of movies.

DJ_Pendej0

It’s too bad the avengers game took it down with them I very much enjoyed the story and gameplay

I remember seeing this, then a friend who HADN'T seen it wanted to, and we caught it at the theater a couple blocks from my apartment, where they show "older" movies from a month or two prior. He paid for the tickets and snacks, so I was like "Oh he is gonna love this." and he did, he walked out, into the slushie January snow laden streets endlessly talking about "Not 100% a dick" that became our in-joke as we played Dragon Age.

i was never big into marvel until guardians came out. the soundtrack, the humor, the bond between the characters… it was so different, but so good. my favorites in the mcu for sure

Did you really just call Chris Pratt, Zoe Saldana, Dave Bautista, Lee Pace and Vin Diesel (admittedly only his voice) 'bottom of the barrel' or even 'mediocre' ? Even back then. Wow ... That's wild.

M@xR3acts

Everyone knows Chris Pratt from Parks and Recreation, Zoe from Avatar, I remembered Dave from an episode of Smallville, never heard of Lee Pace, and Vin from Fast & Furious.

I think they were talking about the characters, not actors. Not many people knew about the Guardians before this movie.

The Media Knights

Talking about the comic book characters. Not many people bought those comics.

Hi 👋 Ari & Denise Hope You are Having a Delightful Weekend. "GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY" a GREAT Movie 🎬 for a Reaction & for a Rewatch with GOOD Friends 🧡 such as yourselves.. Looking towards the Next Installment... Cheers 🍻 HUGs 🫂 🌻 • another Movie 🎬 for a possible Future Reaction: "BACKDRAFT" 1991 starring Kurt Russell, William Baldwin & Robert De Niro

Brenda Mai

I can't wait for you guys to do the rest of the movies in the MCU~ Your reactions are so good, glad you guys enjoyed this one as much as the rest of us did~

Dan Alexander

You have to watch Road To Perdition and 1917. Both masterpieces and worth the Thomas Newman alone.

David Lonewolf Wright

After my first watch of this movie on opening night, it became my most favorite movie and it still is today. One of my most mortifying moments of my life was when I thought this would be the perfect movie to uplift my friend's spirits who was back in town taking care of his mom's estate as she had just passed away. 10 seconds in and I made my realization what I had just done. Thankfully, even after the first couple of minutes, it did help.

Hans Engelen

I see ... Ok that make more sense. As for Lee Pace, he played Thranduil in the Hobbit and currently stars in a surprisingly good SciFi called 'Foundation'. Something people who liked Dune probably would appreciated. Based loosely on Asimov books. That being said however as a European I should point out that for us Iron Man, Thor (aside from his status as a Norse god outside of the comics), captain America and most of the others were also unknowns. Unlike the US the Marvel and DC comics did not really permeate culture here. Availability of these comics in stores being the main reason. Aside from the classic tv series such as Batman, the Christopher Reeve movies for Superman ... most of these characters were not really known to most.

Syborg Seadog

Maybe my favourite Marvel film. The blend of comedy, action, lore. Awesome. Loved to watch along.

KatBranDee

Love GOTG! 🥰 THE MEDIA KNIGHTS, I have to tell you that one of the many reasons I watch\listen to both your YT channel and Patreon, is because you both having calming, down to earth voices and personalities and an "at home chillin" comfortable vibe. Even when your watching horror movies! 😆 I usually watch\listen while at work (residential cleaner) with my earbuds and phone. Helps make the day go smoother, and calm my tinnitus! Lol! Looking forward to more videos in the future! (I've binged your entire channel)🌷💗🌹🍿🎬

M@xR3acts

really? not even the avengers??

M@xR3acts

I remembered playing LEGO Marvel Superheroes (2013) and the Guardians are unlockable characters. I also watched Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes on Disney XD and they popped up in season 2. Besides that, didn't know who they were. Guardians of the Galaxy sounds better than Protectors of the Universe.

mckenzie s.

don’t get me wrong, i thought the avengers were cool! but idk not really my cup of tea lol. i also feel like i tried to get into the mcu too late and was overwhelmed by the amount of movies and shows to watch to keep up with all of the plot lines and references lol. guardians was the first one that i felt was just a fun time

ThomasMalatesta

Count me as one more, "immediately became my favorite Marvel movie." Loved watching your reactions and analysis too.

JayDee AhBooWan

I know these are rewatches, but have you considered watching Agents of S.H.E.I.L.D.? The show starts off tied into the movies from phase 1&2(post avengers, Thor: dark world, CA: winter soldier)

@srjcalonso

I could have sworn you have watched guardians 2

@srjcalonso

Sleep? Who needs sleep? Let’s keep going with the Marvel Saga! Also love you guys and everything you are doing!
