More!? Yes!!! So what if an entire season takes several hours or more to binge! The kids play D&D for 10 hours at a time! S2E4: Poor Max. Her home life is (likely) terrifyingly bad, and then two of the nerdiest boys in the school forcibly befriend her, and then a 3rd one forcibly excludes her, and then the 4th one is demonically possessed right in front of her eyes, and then nobody tells her anything but vague hints about some mysterious girl that is worthy of the boys' unconditional worship but whose backstory sounds more like a pulp-fiction heroine than a real person. I think the writer(s) and the actress nailed Max's reaction to her treatment. The one detail that I've always been most puzzled by is the photo of El's "Papa" and El's "Mama" walking side-by side. In that photo, the two don't seem at all like they're researcher and subject. They seem more like colleagues or possibly even a couple, which leads me to believe that maybe El's mother may have been far more involved in the research than we realize and/or "Papa" may actually be El's biological father, or both. Maybe El's mother wasn't silenced simply to keep her from rescuing El; maybe she was silenced because she knew a wealth of secrets that she would've used as leverage to get her daughter back. S2E5: There's a moment during the interaction between El and her mama that really stands out. El says "I'm home" and her mama grabs El's hand and angrily replies "NO!". What exactly did El's mama mean by that? From the lights, it seems as though El's mama knew El was in the house, which is only physical home that ever existed for either of them. So from a purely physical-world perspective, El was literally in the home that her mother created for her. Therefore, if the "NO!" wasn't referring to El being in the house, what other "home" is there? Perhaps what El's mama meant by saying "NO!" is that she desperately wants El to be (at home) somewhere else. Now that we know El's mama has powers, perhaps she knew things far beyond the boundaries of the show's story. Perhaps she knew something important about El's origins or destiny. Perhaps El's mother has even been watching El all these years. S2E6: Steve + Dustin. A new era has begun. Joyce: "After signing about a thousand papers, they're going to ask you to carry a ring to a very dark place." Bob: "Okay. Yeah. Whatever. That's okay. I can do that."

For S2E6 I'm sure I made the same comment to my housemates at the time, but Paul must be going "Not again... NOT AGAIN!" the sounds of the rifle fire... which sounded a lot like an M4A1 pulse rifle btw over the radio comms... the shouts and screams... Paul must be like "been there done that" For the young peeps that don't know Paul Raiser played Burk in "Aliens"

I am loving these stranger things watch along/marathons. It is such a fantastic show and I love how it is smartly written. They don't treat the audience as idiots. And they found such great kid actors. Noah Schnapp kills it this season. I have always loved Winona Ryder. And David Harbor is so good. This show, with the exception of 1 episode, is just perfection. And Ari, lovin your graphic descriptions. It reminds me of my brother. Except he would wait to bring it up while we were eating supper. Brothers, am I right?😁

I'm loving all of these! I've been having a rough time with work recently (to the point I'm looking for somewhere else to work) but seeing these get uploaded so fast makes my days so worth it! I haven't watched Season 4 yet, and I'm actually waiting to watch it with y'all. Season 3 is my favorite, so I can't wait to get to it, but Season 2 is a very close second! I got all cozy at my desk as soon as I could coming home from work. I can't wait for these last three episodes! The seasons always seem to get even better than before the closer they get to the end

Not sure if anyone has mentioned this but when Bob was looking at the drawings on the wall and asked if it went to buried treasure he was in an 80's movie Goonies and they were looking for treasure. So that was the reference. That would be a great 80's movie for you guys to watch. And Ari, if they did find buried treasure that had been in the upside for an unknowable amount of time, with all the spore's and goop, what do you think the chest would smell like when opened.😁. Thanks for the ST uploads you guys. It's great!!
