Cecil vs Mark is a HOT debate in the community, people tend to feel strongly one way or the other. I think Mark definitely didn't approach the situation correctly but Cecil refused to explain anything and escalated the situation every chance he had. I tend to see where Mark is coming from more than Cecil and I'm glad when others do too. A lot of people side with Cecil and I really don't understand that. Cecil having contingencies in place for Mark is totally understandable, using them over a minor confrontation instead of explaining things better as a first resort is wild. Mark didn't even willingly go to help Nolan, he was lured to Thraxa under false pretense and then didn't even want to help Nolan until he realized how grave the situation was and that he had to intervene or millions would die including his brother. Also working with Darkwing II is one thing but Sinclair should 100% be in prison, not working for the government. Mark being pissed about that makes total sense and I am absolutely behind him on that. At least Darkwing just murdered criminals, not innocent college students

cecil kept provoking mark for literally no reason that entire interaction and that cecil line never made any sense at all mark didnt willingly go to omni man and cecil kept throwing that back at him like it was his fault lol Also invincible is so frustrating to watch some times everyone blames mark for shit he didnt do and i literally feel gaslight for him lmao

Ultimately, Cecil's methods are often proven necessary for Earth's survival, while Mark's stance remains the moral compass the world needs to avoid becoming as cold as the threats it faces. In the debate between Cecil Stedman and Mark Grayson (Invincible), there is no single "right" answer; both characters represent conflicting but valid philosophies.

That no-dialog intro scene for 3x3 was one of my favorite sequences in all of media. The soundtrack was so good, too, just like always in the show. Just in case you forgot, those were two of the dudes who helped beat the living shit out of Mark and the Guardians in Season 1 when Titan basically manipulated him into helping unseat Machine Head. So it was personal when Mark and Oliver showed up. Also, keep that scene in mind coming up for the rest of the season. :)

Yay Season 3 - Let’s freakin GO. Thanks for the reactions before Season 4 this week. I couldn’t wait to see your reactions to Cecil vs Mark. Cecil being the “grown-up” should’ve handled that a lot better… and then when little O entered the killing floor, then lied about it. So you’re probably already finished with the season but if not - there’s so much more to come in the last 4 episodes including yet another amazing voice acting performance from a new character. After this season came out, Battle beast got his own comic series. I would not be surprised if Amazon was already working on a limited series about him. I’ve not heard they are, I’m just saying. It’s a good thing season 4 starts Wednesday or I’d be sad again about waiting. And I hope it follows the trend of each season being better than the last because season 3 was exceptional.
