One of the things to remember with Fisk as you mentioned while I was typing is that Fisk stands toe-to-toe with Peter (Spidey), and while Peter still pulls his punches Fisk can take a lot of hits.

Didn't know the writers had balls. Vanessa and Wilson have a son in the comics plus she survived poisoned alochol in Netflix's Daredevil season 1. So I was like "no way are they gonna killer her off!" I was in denial. But no! They actually killed her off! Lol
