THE LAST OF US EP 6 FULL LENGTH REACTION

Loved the reaction guys, keep up the good work!!!!! This episode was great, but like you guys mentioned about how Joel is more emotional in the show compared to the game, I don’t really mind that they made him like this, my only regret is that they made him more fragile “physically” like being slower and too old. In part one of the game, despite his age, Joel was a complete beast that couldn’t be stopped by anyone….Not gonna lie, I wish we could see the savage Joel that runs around with bricks and shivs going crazy taking down enemies left and right lol…I feel that it’s unfortunate that there isn’t as much action, but the emotional scenes make up for it just enough.

Sandra Germain

These moments of fragility are perhaps transitory, a way for the scriptwriters to make the ferocity of Joel and the action scenes to come more epic, impactful, rich in meaning. I don't know. It's just a guess (I've never played the game).

The Media Knights

Yeah! Have to agree on that one. Hopefully they are reserving that Joel for the next few episodes. I wish we could see a bit more of the infected. But again, we hope that the show is set up as a standard and they are reserving those scenes for later episodes. The emotional scenes however make up for a lot of it. The core message of the show is in full display and it aligns perfectly with what the game accomplished. Thank you so much for watching and listening to our discussion! We really appreciate it!

The Media Knights

Hey Sandra! I think this is in fact the case. Both with Joel and the lack of infected. Knowing HBO the last few episodes of this show are gonna be a fest and a celebration of both the emotional highlights of the show and the action sequences! 😄

I realize how late to the party I am here, but for future reference the blurays don't have the beginning recap. That makes it impossible to sync up with your video. Have you considered blurring the video and keeping it on screen? Even if it's blurred beyond recognition, we could still sync up based off the scene changes. That would make things so much easier. Plus i could pause the video and the reaction to run to the bathroom or let the dog out and come back and be able to sync up again easily......

The Media Knights

Thank you for the feedback! Absolutely. We will keep a core part of the episode in the beginning so that everyone has a chance to sync it properly. My mistake! I did not account for Blu-Rays or physical format in general.

I love how in the campfire scene we get two nods towards the second game, the sheep and her being obsessed with space.
