It's hard for me to get into animation, pokemon was the last time I watched animations lol but for nostalgic purposes I very much enjoyed this, Nintendo bringing my childhood to the big screen 👍🙏 Hopefully we get more Yoshi in the next one!

The Media Knights

This was definitely nostalgic! Cant wait to see what else Nintendo brings us. We're so excited for Yoshi too! Someone said they might even do Star Fox!

Sebastian Maniscalco as Spike was ingenious casting. Because I've seen a lot of his stand-up and he is so Italian it's almost painful. Also, the guy who goes "wahoo" is a reference to Jump Man, which is the name on the arcade machine he's playing, the OG Donkey Kong. Jump Man became Mario. Mario playing Kid Icarus on his NES and then Pauline on TV gave me so much life. Jack Black as Bowser is now the ONLY way I can EVER hear him speak. Fred Armisen as Cranky and Seth Rogen as Donkey were just... impeccable. Diddee [cuz reasons] and Dixie being in it gave me joy too, brought me back to DKC2. This movie was a love letter to fans of the series. Most of all those of us who played it in the 80's. I cannot WAIT for the next one, I wanna see my boy Yoshi. I totally forgot, Charles Martinet, the voice of Mario from 1996 until recent retirement, is Mario and Luigi's father, now THAT is a cameo. Oh noooooo... did you miss the in-credits scene of tiny Bowser playing the piano?

Spike is very likely a reference to the OG Mario movie from 1993. There is a character named Spike in it.
