THE HUNGER GAMES: CATCHING FIRE FULL LENGTH REACTION

Love watching people react to these films for the first time. For me, its the small details they include in the film that allude to bigger portions of the book. Like Haymitch said, there is no winner of the Games. Only survivors. Looking forward to the next reactions! (revised this comment bc i realized it might say more than was revealed so far)

The Media Knights

Thank you so much for watching these with us! There is indeed only survivors and I think the last 2 films portray that wonderfully. The weight they all carry after the games. And even many years later is still pretty visible. The price of freedom. Such an amazing story!

I loves this one thanks

Nowhere Man

Donald Sutherland’s performance as President Snow is chilling. And then there’s Elizabeth Banks’ smile-inducing performance as cringy Effie Trinket. Stanley Tucci has had many remarkable roles, over the years, but this one always sticks in my mind. Those teeth! The Capitol thinks it’s “fighting back” by terrorizing the districts, but all it’s doing is inspiring the districts to rebel even more. It’s truly twisted logic that would compel anyone to increase their control over others by ramping up their cruelty toward others. It was writing brilliance to ironically call the Capitol goons “peacekeepers”. This is when we start to see the cracks in Effie’s facade. There’s actually a caring and genuine human being underneath that mountain of glitter. There’s the Hunger Games, and then there’s the “game” that Katniss and Snow are playing. It seems as though Snow has a long history of problems with young, pretty brunettes from District 12 who wear unusual dresses. I guess he has a type.

Is it possible to reupload this? I am getting the "Sign in to confirm your not a bot" message but I can't press the sign in button and clicking the "open in YouTube" just takes me to the home page

im so late but since i just subscribed and am rewatching with you guys now; reading these books and seeing them come to life was just an honor to see. the last sentence in this book was gales line: "katniss, there is no district 12." I was very young reading this on a school night at 2am and i screamed aloud! what an era to live through, wow! so glad you guy enjoyed this like me. it was the best book AND movie in my opinion. it will never get old.
