New Year at the MCPD (Patreon)

A gentle snow falls on Muscle City as the clock ticks closer to the new year. Ken, Hank, Tommy, and Ronnie have their late holiday party at the precinct, exchanging gifts and well-wishes.

But Ken notices that something is bothering Ronnie. After the seasoned MCPD cop leaves early, Ken follows close behind, catching his longtime friend and partner. Ronnie invites Ken to his place -- an apartment he'd recently rented, one absent his wife, Reneé.

Ronnie pats the seat next to him and explains everything...

Thank you all very much for your patience! This has been such a busy month, more than I can remember for a long while. And then I realized yesterday that over two dozen of these pics needed to be rerendered to fix a problem, so that added to the crunch!

Addition: Is it bad that I tried to read the sign in Panel 1 and now I am trying to figure out what the starting pay actually is to Apply? (It's too blurry on the zoom in on my phone.) I hope that doesn't say $12 an hr? No wonder Muscle Gang run the City!

Oh no, I did! Starting pay is $12 an hour, yes. But this is (supposed to be) set back in 198X, so it's not too, too bad, I think they would say!

So $42/hr an hour in 1981. I am still imagining some of them having to get second jobs and maybe some of them are bitter and that adds to the corruption. Some of them are Jim Gordons and some of them are a little more... Harvey Bullocks. This is the WIRE with muscles and gay sex after all.

The pay would scale for the studs who can stick it out, of course. But the corruption aspect is a tough nut to crack! Thankfully Ronnie and the rest can take it.

ok, I did the math. ((12 an hour X 8)6 days with a day off)4 weeks) 12 months) = 27,648k in 1981 is just shy of $97.5 k a year. Well now they are just corrupt because they are GREEDY! ACAHB. (...Hot Bastards).

I honestly forgot that there were women in Muscle City. I just figured men can get pregnant... Well I'm glad Ronnie and Ken are officially a couple now. This was so sweet and hot.
