Ahhh :D I’d never noticed this episode didn’t have the normal opening with Mumford and sons song and Ted on the Nelson Road stands. That’s amazing. But as I said, I’ve only ever watched this once and then a couple reactions to it. I think it’s very well done, but it stresses me out, which is not what I want when I turn on Ted Lasso 😬😩 There’s a couple details I’m not sure anymore I blabbered about before. - Jane Payne (sounding “pain”) is played but one of the British writers of the show. She’s awesome and so innocently creepy, it’s weird to read! 😬 - in beard’s “imagination” of the two sports commentators constantly mentioning him hating himself was a real surprise for me. I always thought of Beard as the silent, confident, wing man kind of person, the perfect plus one, cause he knows a lot about everything… but I’d never imagined he could have self esteem problems or lack of confidence. We see the story through Ted’s perspective (this episode shows us the tone would be different if we were following Beard instead), but Beard really is quite a character and makes me even more fascinated by their friendship!! - the three Richmond fans from the Mae’s pub, we’ve never seen them at the stadium cause they probably can’t afford it, so Beard letting them go into the pitch is an unbelievable experience 🤩 I love that Beard noticed and did that for them… it’s a very Ted move 🥰 - between Jane and Beard, however long it lasts, I still don’t know if they’re toxic or if they just match each other’s freak… people are different, relationships are such a puzzle sometimes, people are weird, these two are specially weird… and weird attracts weird. I’m still not sure about this plot line. The fact that it’s already lasting so long is for me though one of the examples of the small ways in which this shows isn’t as obvious as some people like to assume it to be. Some people have told me they lose interest because it’s just too wholesome and everything goes wells all the time… 🙄 I don’t think so. I think the characters are very interesting and very flawed. They’re all a bunch of idiots just trying and hopefully doing their best!! Aren’t we all?? Oh well… I’ll shut up now, I don’t know as much about this episode 😬😅 good rest of a Sunday to you!!

Also, i still think this wasn’t such a crazy night… we see beard so often hungover/sleepy, I think weird nights like this happen to Beard more often that we might think. 😅 Oooh and the hula hooping is REALLY a Brendan Hunt talent they they’d been trying to incorporate for ages! Just like Hannah’s singing and Jeremy’s bass playing! 😅
