It Never Ends Well for the Chicken

Lucifer finds his evening plans have changed and it's story time as he tells the tale of his ring. A tale that brings us to 1946 New York and a visit to an old friend.

I was not ready for this episode! But let's go!

Well, at the end of the Diablo episode Michael did tell Maze how to find what secret Lucifer is keeping from her so she did find it. Maybe they could have done this differently and not over a full episode but I personally really enjoyed the whole retro B&W thing and all the little details, including the music and the singing! My favorite line of the episode is one that keeps us tied to the main story of the season: "It would take a literal miracle for me to want something like that, and I'm fairly certain my father's not handing those out anymore." Long story short, Maze's abandonment issues are important and the ring is important too, that's definitely not the last we heard about those. On to the next.... when things are starting to get real real...

I forgot about that part with Michael. Especially when nothing else in this episode was reminding me of what happened previously. I'm looking forward to the next one!
