haha you said "has it come full circle- well more of an oval" and well that oval has not yet fully closed, to stay with that metaphor xD Gotta say i always tear up a tiny bit when Miller dies but its kinda beautiful as well.

Well put. “Full circle” would require all nine novels, but it does complete book one, and the next episode is appropriately called “Paradigm Shift.”

You're asking the right questions, I will tell you that much. I absolutely love seeing your expression as these episodes go along. If you go back and rewatch, pay attention to the structures that the protomolecule is creating inside Eros, especially as Miller gets closer to Julie. There are hands and such, yes, that we saw, but there are also less "complete" structures that bear uncanny resemblances to blood vessels and other systems of the body. The Blue Falcon itself, those structures stuck me as distinctly neuron-like, denoting Julie's resting place as the brain of this new organism-structure. MAN, I love this show... NOW, Imma give you some MORE questions to noodle on.... The bird that Miller follows is a throwback to the sparrow he saw outside his apartment back on Ceres... but Julie didn't know about that, so how does the protomolecule know to present it to him as a guide? Also... he and Julie never met before. How does she know he belongs with her?

I always wanted to ask the authors about the bird imagery. The bird shows up at Julie's apartment when Miller is there. It seems like some kind of communication path between them even on separate stations! Julie sees both the bird and Miller (with his hat AND the necklace!) just before she dies. And we know that didn't really happen so what did? How was she seeing a person she never met before? And in this episode (and the last one) they talk about a Dr who was attacked by the protomolecule when he entered the station but nothing happened when Miller entered. Why? These are questions which arise from the story up to this point. I am not pretending to have answers but the questions always fascinate me!!
